Have you tried the Saluspa Paris with foam lining? It’s not inflatable, but its price range puts in competition. I would love to know how it compares with holding heat and energy efficiency

I been using bromine for three yrs and after six months developed rashes. Had to take out bromine for three days before going in only once a week,then shower after. Now I’m switching to chlorine and not the type I use in pool.

Thank you for doing this specific review. I saw your "Best of..." and it was in it, but this gives a more thorough review and actually shows how to set it up. I do have one comment and a few questions. Please don't get upset about this, but the comment is that the word description is spelled d(i)scription twice when directing us to check out the description below the video. I'm only saying it because others might discredit your reviews solely based on that misspelling. My questions are: Do the seats really need to be inflated and, if not, can they be inflated even if the hot tub is full of water? If the seats are not inflated, does it make for a bulky, uncomfortable bottom of the hot tub? How easy is it to attach the seats to their jets? Does it have something to lay under it as a sort of barrier between the bottom and the surface on which it will be sitting? Where are the Min/Max lines? Edit: I purchased one of these yesterday and will get it next Saturday and I'll update here. Could you please answer my questions, though, so I know what I need before I assemble it?

I only wish you included how long they stay hot for. I noticed with mine that it would only hold the temp of about 102 for 30 minutes until it's cooldown without the cover on

We bought our first SaluSpa 4 years ago and really liked it. The water pump bushings failed after one and a half years, but I found rebuild kits for less than $15.00. I had to rebuild the pump twice due to improper fitting impeller bushings. I had to modify bushings slightly for a better fit. Our first hot tub had a deformation and developed a few pin holes after 4 years...patching wasn't successful after multiple tries. After 4 years of use, we were happy with it overall. I replaced it with a new "Miami" SaluSpa this Fall and really have been happy with it....unfortunately, the pump unit is very loud, with a constant buzzing, which is definitely annoying. I installed my older rebuilt pump/heater unit as it is completely quiet and employs nearly identical plumbing inputs. We'll keep the new Miami pump/heater unit as a spare. We paid $349.00 for our first one, and $369.00 for the new Miami. Pretty good value. I estimate about a $1.00/day electric cost, running 24/7.

Would it be safe to put this in a mudroom where there is no heat rather then outside in freezing tempatures? Also what kind of plug does it have is it a special one ? Or can u just put in in a regular outlet

Hey there, I really enjoy watching your videos! Have you seen/tried any of the Saluspa Ultrafit integrated pump hot tubs yet? I just bought one from Walmart called the Tahiti 7 and it is 85 in. x 28 in. The pump for the hot tub is now integrated/inserted into the lining of the hot tub. It looks amazingly sleek and you don't have to unhook any hoses to use the built-in air pump. It is also 40% more efficient than the prior models. I cannot find any videos regarding my model or any of the other ultrafit integrated pump spas. I'm assuming that they are relatively new because of this. Amazon has some listed with the models being: Barbuda, Hawaii, Bali, and Rome. You have to search Saluspa Ultrafit. If this is new to you, would you consider testing one of those models out? Thanks again for your videos!

Don’t spend the extra money on the chlorine generator. ( salt water) it is such a small body of water 1 chlorine tablet will go a long way! Much cheaper and safer options out there.

If it's going directly on the ground, should we put sand or gravel down to make it completely level?
@kenbred46Ай бұрын
I wouldn't use gravel as 1. You'll be sitting on it and unless you like the feel of sitting on gravel I'd advise against it. @. The sharp edges of the gravel may poke holes in the bottom liner.

I know electric prices vary throughout the country, but how much it costs yearly to run would be great to know. Of course, ballpark idea.
@TubTalkReviewsАй бұрын
About $35 to $50 a month. So around $400 to $600 if you have it on all the time. I’d say we have one plugged in only about 1/2 the time though.
@Bmwhacker-fl4qjАй бұрын
Ours runs 24/7 and I've estimated it costs about $30.00 to $35.00 in electric usage per month, over a 4 year period.

Can you keep the tub pumped up or do you have to pack it away ones you done usuing it?
@TubTalkReviewsАй бұрын
You can keep it pumped up. Does help to top it off with air every couple of weeks or months if you can.
@sebastienlinck4908Ай бұрын
You can definitely leave it pumped up. I've had mine for 4 years and just got done not using it for the past 6-7 months. I just drained it and have it pulled out of my garage to be sanitized since it was sitting so long. Then just bring it in, pump it up from any lost air and refill. I plan on using mine for the holidays :]
