Ya'll went to the Sand Hills rest area in the middle of I-8 by Olgiby Rd., right? We wintered over in Yuma last year, on the other side of town, by the Fortuna Foothills. We stayed at Pilot Knob 3 winters back. We recently bought a 65-gallon bladder, but it is heavier than that green one and won't fold up as nice. It should be more durable though, and it lays nice and flat, allowing us to put bags of grocery on top of it. The advertisement showed a truck driving over it and it was still OK. I don't think I'll try that. Ours is heavy black PVC that they said it was for potable water. Many don't say that. I used it for the second time today. It is much easier to use than the 5-gallon collapsible totes that we have been using for the last 5 years, and we can make fewer trips, which is nice. We switched from the 7-gallon blue totes like you guys have because I decided when I retired that I would soon grow too old to lift them without busting a gut. We still plan on using the 5 gallon square collapsible jugs, like you get at Walmart, if we need to get water from a vending machine, or the hose won't reach from the spigot to the trunk of our toad. Here's the one we just bought for only $45. www.amazon.com/dp/B0CNLSS6FY?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details The thread fittings are 3/4" pipe so we got a fitting to go from 3/4" pipe to 3/4" garden hose at the hardware store to make it work. We also had to get some fittings to adapt out spare 12v RV water pump to work with hose fittings. We use the battery in our Chevy Cobalt toad to pump the water as the bladder is in our trunk, by the battery. Take care!

I was watching you guys during your Bus build and am now catching up with the truck build here :-) One question that has always been on my mind is: Does the actual diesel heater on the inside of the Rig not get hot so it could be the cause of a fire ? Also, I would like to mention that vibrating may cause trouble with your gas can in the box, when it rubs against that piece that you installed at the back of the box.

You actually don’t have to pump the water out of the water bladder just sit on the water bladder and the weight pressure will provide the energy needed, you could also place a sand bag on the bladder just anything with weight will do even one of those water jugs . Just an FYI.

03:08 I guess taking care and keep on replanting trees didn't make a profit so, they let plant a few and let it grow on their own. We need those Air-filtering-Oxigen-producing beings. That lack of serious effort makes me sad, specially nowadays, with this w0k3 fanatic propaganda around electric vehicles. And since there's more electric vehicles, there's also more need for electricity and thus, they put down forests to build solar panel and wind-mills to generate electricity to power the growing number of EVs... BUT one question remains... - What good does it make having electricity, although most of us don't have the money to buy an EV, if we will not have breathable air, because the Oxigen will become scarce? The planet doesn't need Oxigen! Its living beings need Oxigen to keep on living. So, planting permanent green leaf trees is extremely crucial to renovate the atmosphere. Makes sense? Beautiful place! That creek is gorgeous! All landscape looks great for some motocross rides and enjoying the scenic route.😊 «Wow! That's the longest half-mile hike i've ever took!»🤣 You got lost! How did you managed to do that?😄 You should already know to never trust women's (lack of) geographical location instincts, to guide us into the unknown.😂 Have a great week, ride safe, and watch good movies!💨🏍✌😉

Great 👍 video, yeah 👍 I’m camping out here tell my Apt is ready in the first, and I parked in the asphalt not knowing lol 😆 the Ranger was knocking on my window but crack in the morning. He wasn’t very nice at all. But other then that it’s nice out here people are pretty nice it’s quiet 🤫 and a lot of people in bus”s rvs cars etc then you hit me in my little ford fiesta se hatchback lol 😆. I do notice that there seems to be a bunch of regular folks so I’m not sure about the 14 day rule, but you do need to pay $25.00 to get into the Lake Mead area. I got the America Access pass cause I’m disabled. You should try Lowell Canyon or, Spring Mountain out f Red Rock those places are more beautiful but I believe a bit farther away from the strip, then of course we got all kinds of BLM land all around the State of Nevada.

Any insights after 3 years? Im currently reinstalling my heater core in out ‘99 Thomas. I’m contemplating swapping all the hose for silicone due to bulk cost and heat rating. I looked at the gates 28413 and is rated to +257 degrees and says not to run it on heavy machinery/busses. Have you had any issues with the hose? The heavy duty Gates 28444 (rated for busses/heavy machinery) is double the price, is rated to +275. The silicon hose adds another 100$ on top of the gates 28444 and is rated to +350. The original hoses in our Thomas are the Goodyear hi miller rated to +300.. enough to make my head spin 😂. Thanks for the video and I subbed to your channel. It’s amazing after a couple years working on our bus, I’m still finding pens and pencils. On a side note, Did you get your bus Cali? I just removed the Cleaire emissions controller junk from rear behind the air cleaner. And was the 50ft enough to replace whole run or did you have to use some of your old hose? Thanks!

Hello! In order to get to Topock from the river, you have go through Topock Gorge. It’s a beautiful canyon. Its really something to see. There’s a couple spots in the canyon where you can see ancient Indian petroglyphs. There’s a tour that can take you there. Next time you should try that.

Randy, you look exhausted. Hope you are close to being finished. It’s very pretty. Have fun this winter. PS must be a Knapp thing on caffeine. I stick to juices and herbal Tea. I broke out this year in hives from head to toes. My body does not like modern medicine. Take care and stay safe this winter. Love you both. Jen.
