If you love tuxedo cats please check out my children's books The Adventures of Mr.Pickles Tuxedo Cat...the first book is Mr Pickles finds a home, based on a true story of how he was rescued as a kitten and introduced to the family and the other family pets and in the 2nd book Mr Pickles gets scared it is a rhyming book which kids will love. Mr. Pickles gets scared by all sorts of things from thunderstorms, firetrucks and the toilet being flushed just to name a few...kids will fall in love with Mr. Pickles tuxedo cat...the overall theme in the book series is LOVE

When i lived in section 8 housing the playground was in my back yard. I got charged $20 every single month for maintenance having to pick up the trash kids left "in my yard". My daughter was 1 year old at the time and we didnt use the playground. They told me it didnt matter the trash was in my yard😂

That's when I reply with "I would pick up the dog poop IF I had a dog. Seeing as how there is no K9 living with/visiting my home, I'm not the responsible party to your request. We have indoor cats and that is all. Thank you for your time and if I ever have a dog or one visit I Will be sure to pick up after it ."

Seems like a brief misunderstanding from what I can see with the rest of the texts lol wouldn’t call it audacity. Cause you were paying extra for a pet and they probably forgot what kind of animal you had…Then a aw and/or got complaints about the poop & thought it was a dog - Id definitely charge a person too if they weren’t cleaning up after their dog 😅 that’s just so rude. Understand where they were coming from. But if this happens again; maybe preemptively get a ring doorbell/security camera so you have footage of other dogs doing their business by your house & can easily show it (plus the camera is just good to have anyways for safety 👍)

Weirdly, there is a camera out front only the landlord has access to. And as per the lease we aren’t allowed to do any modifications such as installing a ring camera. 🤦🏻‍♀️

They think you have a dog they don't know about. It is fairly standard practice to lie to landlords about how many and what kind of pet you have. You, being honest, are not their average tenant. Give them the benefit of the doubt and explain your situation calmly

@@lindseyjoanna Most likely, the charge is a bluff. It takes zero effort to threaten someone with a charge. It takes considerably more to make that charge stick. Remember, you are not dealing with a friend. They are your landlord. They are not looking out for your best interest.
