Do you have to be close to hear the sounds? It's raining more and more where I live, and I love the idea of making the constant rain a bit less depressing, but can you hear the sound without standing next to the drum? For example from inside with an open window?

You could probably hear it if it’s right outside your window, but it’s fairly quiet unless it’s raining hard.

@@lindseyjoanna thanks for the answer! The drum probably gets louder the bigger it is, but the big ones are too expensive :( what a shame, they sound so nice and calming!
