Have you done any more top speed testing Randy? I saw a Twister 24 cat with a 450R doing 119 mph at Lake of the ozarks yesterday. Boat made in Finland and crew from Norway.

No I never had an issue. I had it set up where I could dump off the throttle at 95 and it would just slow down the straight.

Probably an issue with an air leak keeping the rear brakes activated. Yes it's insured. Not sure if I have replacement coverage or actual value coverage.

Glad to know i can find a stoker and have more fun with it while taking that exrra 70 thousand for 30 additional lake trips plus fixing engine or maintaining lol. Going just as fast and it looks better. Bring back closed bow tunnels losers. 65,000 for a 19ft flat tunnel closed bow lol Get a life.

A 260 wouldnt even run 100mph. I had a 280 on a 21 Liberator, it was a turd compared to the new 4 strokes.

 @GT-mn3bx1 year ago I got a regular style STV with a 2.5 300 Drag at 127 on my Stalker Radar gun in 1997 maybe. Pretty heavy boat with interior for 5. 34 Mazco cleaver if I remember right. I got the DCB owner in 93 or so with what was then the 2.5 SS(Prior to the Drag moniker) at 134 in a 19 Daytona a new stepped bottom when he was still rigging Eliminators and just came out with the DCB Mach 22.
