I think it was clogged with snow because it doesn't normally sound like that. I made a video a year or so ago (maybe 2 years) of it during a blizzard and the horn sounded awful! It was like a squeaky toy.

@@BrokenFootRailfan Pfhuh, there was even one video I saw of a Metra Cabcar when they still had K5LA's on some sounding quite off being clogged in the snow, but sometime last year two of the SC-44's for the Midwest sounded very frozen on Wolverine trains 352 and 355 due to the ice which I think they were able to clear that out and fix the horn. I have a friend who works for UP and is able to look up the train symbols for me.

It has some cracks but we put it all back together and somehow it still works! I did lose the footage of that train though which is too bad because it would have been hilarious!

@@BrokenFootRailfan CDTX F59PHI 2007 along with AMTK F59PHI's 455 and 457 when those two used to run on the Surfliner also used to have OLS wraps before they were overhauled too. @@BrokenFootRailfan If you want something else for fallen flags, New Jersey Transit, Metro-North and Chicago's Metra actually have some heritage units like those too than just freight. A few of Metro-North's P32AC-DM's have been getting fallen flag paints for their 40th Anniversary last year. Engine 201 has one of the former ConRail liveries identical to CSX ES44AH 1976 (formerly 3069), engine 208 wears a classic paint that the FL9's used, and engine 211 wears the New York Central paint scheme in gray like CSX ES44AH 1853 (formerly 3067). NS SD70ACe 1066 wears the New York Central paint scheme as well even though that paint is black. We'll have to see what comes fourth and last for the heritage on MNRR.

Relatively speaking (for the valley I don’t feel like Hanford is unsafe. I lived in kings county for way too many years and spent a lot of time in Hanford. There is definitely a homeless population in the area of the SJVR diamond but I am used to dealing with homeless from my time in Fresno, and most that I’ve come across have been fine to deal with. I feel like most of them try to just keep to themselves, and I also do the same thing so maybe that’s why.
