I've been looking at a lot of QV models myself but unfortunately they're not too common here in Africa. Would definitely like to see some other stuff on this little car if you guys still have it (and if it hasn't fallen apart yet lol).

I have a 320ci, 2005, 65,000 miles. Brilliant had it for 9 years. Superb!

The year I turned 50, coincided with the year I was promoted to US Navy O6 (Captain). I had yearned after one of these, since seeing a S2 Cabriolet in bright polar white, on the pier in Norfolk VA. As it turned out, it belonged to my XO, who had recently “survived” a nasty divorce. I bought mine, years later, a 1990 S2 Cabriolet, in the same blue as yours (Baltic Blue, with linen colored full leather). Now in my final run in my 60s, I still own the car. I live in New England, so winters I place her in “mothballs”. She still hasn’t crossed the 70k mark in the odometer. I’d be lying if I didn’t admit to selling it and buying a 911…..but this cab, gets comments everywhere we go. Good luck on your restoration journey..the 944 takes cornering as if on rails. Enjoy that car, young man…as an old man, I certainly have!

Watch out for US spec H4 lights as they are set up to point at the opposite side of the road. Better off getting them from Australia (we Aussies drive on the same side as you) and putting in LED headlight bulbs. Much brighter and dramatically less current draw

I had an E46 330ci for 3 years in 2015, i reckon i spent the equivalent in keeping it going, partly because of the garage i was using which wasn't very good and also components that shouldn't fail so early in their life, Cooling system, power steering pump, fuel pump, Disa Valve and finally the nail in the coffin was the automatic gearbox which webt wrong, i was looking at over £2000 to get that refurbished! I got rid after that I did love it when it worked though, great engine, good steering and would have been miles better in manual, i might have still had it if it wasnt for yhe gearbox.

Enjoyed the video. I bought a 2000 328Ci in October 1999, topaz blue, grey interior, factory areodynamics package, and with a 5 speed. So, a real soft spot for your car! Easy car to work on! The car is not a fast car like my E93 335is, but the fun factor makes up for it. If you own and maintain the car over time, it's not that expensive to own. To directly answer your question.
