That looks like an excellent studio garage thing. If it had a sofa bed and a stove up in the office, you'd never have to leave.

Wow Liam massive changes to the Brand, well done for making it happen. I just Bought a 944 and am keen to see you guys do great things. I'm definitely going to do a double din radio replacement. Mine has no Power steering so I'm going to add a Volvo v70 motor with sensitive setting🤞. Good luck and with your future content. Roger

Great video guys. Just doing the induction mod on my race car, what angle is the elbow between the stock rubber elbow and filter and where did you get it from, cheers

Has the engine sound from inside the car improved as well from the induction mod? Would love to do it just because of that, though I'm a bit scared if heavy rain will pose a problem
@TheBackRoads Жыл бұрын
It's massively improved in the cabin. I've had it out in full wet weather with no issues. The filter is oiled and the water can escape from the area anyway.

Hiya Liam I like your new 944S2 project car but I'm curious to know what your plans are for my old 944 S2 ...?
@TheBackRoads Жыл бұрын
Hey John, the other S2 is currently tucked away nicely awaiting restoration. Hopefully will be fixing the rear end this year 👍

Watch out for US spec H4 lights as they are set up to point at the opposite side of the road. Better off getting them from Australia (we Aussies drive on the same side as you) and putting in LED headlight bulbs. Much brighter and dramatically less current draw

Nice job! What is that piece on the front above the bumper with the hole in it called? Sorry I may have missed it in the video. But is this an orderable part?
@TheBackRoads Жыл бұрын
This is a custom part, but you can find similar styles online "vented nose panel".

@TheBackRoads - could you guys do a cost video summarising how much you have spent on the car. Repairs. Tools and any mods etc. I’m after doing a build myself but wanting to better understand the likely costs involved before committing. Loving the channel! Thanks a lot guys
@TheBackRoads Жыл бұрын
We probably will soon! We're not far off the final stages of 'stage 1' of the build.

If one is on a budget the Saab 9000 air filter fits under the front panel of the s2, and has better filtration :)
@AlanRichter-f9m8 ай бұрын
where di you get the air induction kit that you used, including the front nose for the car
@TheBackRoads8 ай бұрын
We made it from scratch, the nose panel is a vented turbo panel.
