Tesla STARTED working on FSD in 2016, and Musk said he thought by sometime in 2018 a Tesla using FSD would be able to autonomously drive across the country. That was not a promise of robo taxis in 2018, as a car can drive across the country on highways and highways are much easier than city driving. Yes, and that was way too optimistic, but Musk would never have started SpaceX or invested in Tesla if he was not one of the most insanely optimistic people alive. Tesla V13, watch the videos. Way superior to Waymo, driving difficult high traffic roundabouts, driving on snow covered dirt roads, etc. Waymo cannot drive in snow conditions, LIDAR laser beams go everywhere when they hit a snowflake, can only do one lane roundabouts, cannot drive on the highway, cannot do difficult unprotected left turns… Waymo is no threat at all, their costs are so high they lose enormous amounts while charging the same prices as Uber. But Tesla will charge much lower prices, so everyone will immediately abandon Uber when Tesla robo taxis arrive. Which anyone watching a V13 video knows will be very soon.

Get ready for Tesla robotaxi in 2025 with the first approval in some major city and with Elon and Trump buddies, regulation will be no problem and federalization of an approval like the FAA for FSD for all 50 states in one go!

I think it is insane, probably the worst possible choice to sell Tesla to buy Uber. All the Uber insiders are selling, tens of millions worth of Uber stock sold by the CEO alone, none are buying, but you know better? Meanwhile Elon Musk is predicting a 3x or more will happen soon for Tesla stock. But you know better? Musk says Tesla now has “a clear path to dominance.” Is that a sell signal to you? Tesla will have robo taxis VERY soon, anyone who has watched a V13 video sees it, and Tesla robo taxis will be far less expensive than getting an Uber, plus no driver, plus watch videos or play video games on your trip, or listen to Spotify or whatever. Uber will simply be crushed, Tesla will own the taxi market and the taxi market be ten times the current size because prices be so much lower. Waymo will die too. GM saw V13 videos and pulled the plug on Cruise almost immediately. Seriously, if you want to lose all of your money, you did the right thing. If you to 10x your money, then you need to sell Uber and get back into Tesla.

Hi Peyton! Technically 50% of my portfolio is in broad ETFs. Both pay a dividend, though I am assuming my holding in SCHD would be more the type of dividend ETF you are referring to. The other 50% of my portfolio is in individual stocks. There are a couple reasons for this, but one is that I like more control. Two, I find it enjoyable investing in individual companies. Three, I hold my core 50% in ETFs for the foundation/stability in performance, but the other 50% gives me an opportunity to slightly outperform (or underperform) the benchmark indices. Thanks for the feedback! Tbh, I did not originally intend to diversify this much. Originally, I only owned VOO, then SCHD, and then I started buying individual positions. I meant for the individual positions to form a sort of "ETF" by themselves, so diversified a decent amount but have since been working on consolidating my holdings. This year, I sold both UNP and KO, deciding that the money is better put elsewhere into SCHD or an individual holding. I still have plans to sell more holdings including F, MMM, INTC, and potentially LOW or HD (I don't think I am getting much benefit from holding both since they are so similar). Another reason I picked up so many individual holdings is because I tend to buy the individual stocks on dips, but of course not all companies dip at the same time. That is why I just added BAH for example, even though I would ideally prefer to not open more new positions. You think? I agree that there’s a lot of uncertainty with Google, but the company is doing well in terms of fundamentals. WMT has definitely been on a good run, but trades very rich so we’ll have to see how long they can sustain it.

Google is my largest holding, around 20% of my portfolio. I was lucky to buy below $100 a year ago and plan to compound it over time. The recent DOJ troubles feel like a great opportunity to add more, just like you did. As for Target, while the valuation is appealing, I think it lacks quality and a clear turnaround catalyst. Being close to eCommerce in my work, I see the future as ad-driven, where Amazon and Walmart are outpacing Target in advertising dollars. This will allow them to squeeze Target even further. It's hard to justify investing in Target when wonderful businesses like Google, Booking, or ASML are coming down in price recently for me personally.

I started my Google position with a cost basis of $95.21/share, really wish I loaded up on more back then 😂. Would love to see an even bigger pullback in share price now, but still seems worthwhile to add to my position at current prices. ​@@TheDividendAristocrat Yes, I mostly do individual stocks. Around 90% of my portfolio are individual stocks. I don't have a limit on how much a single position can take over, especially when they are of the quality of Google. I once read a great piece of content from Pat Dorsey that showed epmirically that after 12 stocks you tend to loose diversification effects exponentially. I try to basically find 10-15 great bets at any point of time - so very picky!

Completely agree with you. Unfortunately, their margins are unlikely to increase significantly since a large portion of their business is contract work for the Department of Defense :/ The government tends to limit the margins on their work, since it is technically tax payer dollars that are used for it. I definitely wish that they had a lower dividend, since at their size I think the capital could be better allocated elsewhere but oh well.
