Yah was crazy waking up to that. I had a couple positions i wanted to add to, but couldn't since my brokerage experience an "outtage"

Warren buffet is a trader. At the end of the day regarding the positions held in a stock automatically means any small fluctuations means absolute millions in gains if he chooses to sell.
@TheDividendAristocrat4 ай бұрын
Yes, he is a trader, but a large reason as to how his performance has been so good compared to other investors/hedge funds is due to him being willing to hold his “winners” long term.

I don't own Intel but my portfolio doesn't keep any stock that doesn't pay a dividend. This is a recent change for me. I use to own Tesla (made profit). Now dividend stocks are the only stocks that I would own. You do talk fast. A slower pace might help 👍
@TheDividendAristocrat4 ай бұрын
I own a bit of Tesla, it’s certainly a wild ride. Thanks for the feedback, i’ll work on talking a bit slower, will take some time getting used to 😅

I like keeping up with super investor's portfolios. I personally don't take their buy and sells too seriously but find it entertaining to see what they're up to. That said, I don't think this raises any new alarms with Apple that people did not already know. Large company, slowing revenue growth.

When i see Elon, Bezos & Buffett selling. I think they know whats coming down the pipeline before us normies do. Smart people learn from their own mistakes & & wise people learn from mistakes of others
@TheDividendAristocrat4 ай бұрын
Yup, could definitely be the case. Are you growing your cash position as well?
@Wrex3274 ай бұрын
Might be the case, but on the other hand Elon might be looking for cash for his other egocentric crazy ventures, Bezos simply diversifies and Warren? As much as I hate it, next crash would be his last. I am under 30, so if nothing crazy happens to me, I have a lot of years of compounding in front of me. Look at trades of US politicians. They don't seem particularly bullish too me, especially Pelosi putting more money on NVIDIA.

@TheDividendAristocrat Yes....i invest $250/week or $1000 a month and then pay it back. I get paid bi weekly so the off week $250 allows me to continually invest.

I don’t think this will directly impact apple but the global market crash may pull apple down with ut

Seems like you were correct, at least short term. We'll have to see how this plays out
@o.c.g.m94264 ай бұрын
Doesn't mean anything for me. I'm not following Buffett. I'm my own INVESTOR & you young guys should be too. Pick your OWN STOCKS you believe in and just slowly keep adding. Buffett's a Billionair. YOU'RE NOT !!
@TheDividendAristocrat4 ай бұрын
That is a good mentality to have. It’s usually not efficient following super investors trading because it’s impossible to know when they purchased/sold stock during the quarter and at what price. Also, investors like Buffet have historically had special deals with companies (like Bank of America) where he bought shares at a discounted rate (an option that would never be available to us)
@PThippo4 ай бұрын
The slower pace is good I think. This was still pretty fast talking so maybe you could slow it down a bit more

Buffett holds a lot of DVA…Thoughts?
@TheDividendAristocrat4 ай бұрын
Not too familiar with the company. Seems that their revenue is increasing but at a rather slow rate, but their revenue/share is increasing quickly due to their aggressive share buybacks. Little to no debt, low capex (decreasing capex spending), and high free cash flow. No dividend, so probably why it hasn't been on my radar. Can't really give much more than that since I do not know much about the company itself, but hopefully those financial metrics are useful to you!
