Fine places in Middle Earth to feast, drink, smoke and keep up with the country folk.

this brings me back to 2008, when I played vanilla lotro with my then girlfriend, now wife. Our first real mmo, it had some real magic to it. they nailed atmosphere and music in this game. what a great time it was!. we were both young, 22 and 19, Ive been in hobbington so many times late at night, like 2am after doing a rift run, then going to hobbington to cool down my mind before bed and while talking in ts with the fellowship about improvements we can make to our runs. Its a shame those times are over, adult life catched up eventually.. I miss these days sooo damn much, that I would trade 20 years of my lifetime and just reach 60, if I could go back and relive those years, with that mental state and that age again. it was a very special time for me where so many things just went hand in hand. I moved together with my GF, we both found joy in playing games together, we had no obligations, no pressure to start working, we basically had a year off and no forced bedtime or alarm clock in the mornig. and we both were still that youthfully naive. it was basically one year of summer holidays without the parents for us, and we did spend that year in middle earth and it was great!

Thanks for saving the memory of the most magical moment of all this game for me. This city during Midsummer is everything my childhood fantasies were about, all i would love to see it in real life as an ideal of beauty and cheering people. 😊 Males all these 15 years of gaming worthwhile.

Rivendell is beautiful but nothing comes close to a walk near Celondim docks or a lazy sunset on Duillond Terraces. That's why we settled in Falathlorn across the river and called it home. :) (Well, maybe Loeglond beats them all regarding beauty but Rhovanion is too far away everything we love)

At around 3 seconds in you can see a brightness on the screen border from the Hope buff, I guess Tom must've walked by. Might seem dumb to notice, but I thought it was cool lol

Standing Stone should make a career option to settle in a village or city, grow crops or whatever profession that can sell, have a family, have players buy things you sell and just stay where you are at. While I love the idea quests and roaming around, sometimes, you just find yourself in breeland or the shire and just relax and stay there for a few days.

Love this music, you can also hear this running around the swamp next to Needlehole, combined with the ambient noise of the swamp, sometimes I will just hang out there for the vibes

The memories are so profound strong in this, most of the older music in LOTRO are so loaded with memories for me that it feels like being thrown back into simpler times - another music track that also resonate with me is Hellfire Peninsula from World of Warcraft but there is something special with the music from LOTRO.
