@@jackmchammocklashing224 hi yes it's a strange name for a bar indeed, it's something to do with ambassadors colours ( 🟣 purple) and there commitment to preservation of sea life , they have a image of a turtle on the hull of the ship Ambience ( and yes it's purple). On marella cruises there pub bar is called Squid and Anchor, so guess a lot of cruise ships have strange bar names 😎👍😁

@@RiazKhan-qy3rv hi you can buy a Cyprus phone SIM card at just about every kiosk, and supermarket in Cyprus, i am not sure you can buy them at the airport as there isn't really many shops at arrivals, there is a small newsagents / snack shop in entrance to airport and they may well sell SIM cards. Have you been to Konia Tavern? , one of my all time favourites, fabulous atmosphere and food . Traditional Cypriot restaurant, mostly locals go. ❤

Is there any day trips to Giza/Pyramids available at this hotel? Looking to go February to hurghada but need to visit the pyramids

@@Rangers-72 hi yes there are trips to the pyramids, but they can be expensive, there are trips also available to Luxor which is a lot closer and more interesting than Giza. I would recommend at least a overnight in Cairo and Luxor if you go. Thanks so much for watching 👍☺️

I have been through Hurgada airport about 38 times to present date. I don’t complain about the security checks I would rather be safe. Make sure your bank notes are quite new they won’t take old ones. There is one further security check you didn’t mention there is one before your departure gate in which they randomly select people. When arrive make sure you get your landing card when you pay your visa, they won’t give it to you without you asking. If there is along queue at passport control ( usually) and you don’t have one you will be told to go back and get one and queue all over again

9:30 Did he tell you to put your camera away?? As an aside, I live on the opposite side of the island, it’s nice to see mature trees with plenty of greenery down Bar Street. Here they won’t let stuff grow and either severely chop trees down to bare stumps or massacre them so much they’re stunted, with barely any greenery and don’t look natural. The aesthetic of the place really suffers as a result and resembles a sanitised, soulless concrete jungle and is beginning to spoil my experience of living here.

Absolutely nothing special whatsoever about this restaurant. Plates were big, portions were not. Chips were dead and soft, tinned veg, Stifado cooked using the cheapest possible cut of beef, Kleftiko really nothing to it, wrap in foil and bake in oven, only differences you could find would be amount of fat on meat and amount of bones…if ‘mind blown’ I’d say your tastes are simple and unrefined. Cheap, frozen desserts from local super market, would be cheaper to make themselves but that would be too much work. May I suggest you give more honest reviews moving forward…for the price this 3 course meal was acceptable however with experience you’d know the quality and taste were poor and bland. Paphos has so many excellent restaurants, why not showcase them? Leave the charming but ‘stuck in the 80’s’ poor quality budget tavernas to it.

@@forbello hi thanks so much for watching, we absolutely disagree with you on the food quality at "Viva Cyprus" it was very good 👍 and our review was and is completely honest, but I I guess you have a much more experience than we do of refined food, so I thank you for your opinion but it won't change my review, you ask me to showcase other restaurants, please let me know which ones as we are more than willing to try them. Ps have you ever eaten at Viva Cyprus ?

Sorry I don't know the post code as they are very general in Cyprus, just Google it when you are there, it's very easy from Kato Paphos basically two roads, don't worry it's easy to find, paying for parking can be more challenging first time lol 🤣
