The only redesign I kind of like in this is Zevlor's. He does look more experienced in general and his equipment have a lot less flourish. Which... makes sense. You'd think he'd prioritize a practical armor over a fancy one in his situation.

Any idea if “ThePurpleTie1's - Shadowheart” is coming to the BG3 in game mode manager?

Could someone please advise me? I want to replay the game, but I'm afraid that mods will make the game broken/too easy and I won't enjoy it. I played it on hard difficulty now and thinking of going to the hardest one (tactician I believe it is called) I can imagine if I increase my party to 8 people or so, the game will be too easy. Any advice on how I could balance the game, which mods I could use and which once I should avoid to still have my second playthrough challenging the same way it was when I played the first time. Thank you!

I'm on the minority here but I actually prefer Gortash as an in game antagonist. Ketheric's interesting bits are found on books and people talking about him. Other than his iconic halberd scene I find him lackluster, specially with all the hyper around him. He's still an 8/10

I have installed some mods from the in-game mod manager. All of a sudden i cannot see spell slots in combat, and my movement bar doesn't update. Starting a new game with the exact same mods resolves this issue (do not want to have to do that). I have tried to uninstall and reinstall mods, the entire game, etc... nothing works. Does anybody have advice!! Ive looked everyone for ideas and nothing is working

Sorry but I 100% disagree about WASD. I make sure to uninstall it from any collection I try. I recently went back to dragon age and the WASD movement is one of the reasons I stopped playing again. The movement and being able to do point and click is usually what signals to me if it's actually going to be a good rpg or an arcadey one like what happened to dragon age 2. If its going to be included it better be as an option lol

They should support mods, its what keeps the game being replayable. Mods is what kept the original BG games going all these years. I just bought the game yesterday. I'll do a play thru without mods to see how it is, then I'll start looking around for mods I want. Mods I usually look for first is graphics improvements and character beautification mods. Then weapon, armor, enemy improvement mods.

this harder honor mode is honestly exactly what I need - as a forever DM that tries to challenge a group that is pretty decent at minmaxing I actually disliked Baldurs Gate 3 at first, because tacticion was such a pushover - even without minmaxing or exploiting it, I believe the only time a character actually died was when a skeleton spawned next to shadowheart in the Nightsong fight, and knocked her off the cliff before she could take a turn. - honor mode didnt really add much - only died on my first attempt in act 2 since the game didnt pause while disarming the knockdown trap in the creche. - succeded on the second then. So this actually might be enough to make me finally replay the game, since I was really turned off by the easy difficulty. :D

its kind of sad there are only great face mods for female chars, at least on the in game mod site. I need better male faces TwT

Mod creator for the reaper class here, thanks so much for covering my mod you covered it extremely well. I will definitely look into why linger grip is not working it also looks like couple other features did not work such as when you crit while in judgment you should be getting a free attack. Secondly it feels so nice to make it into one of your videos I remember just last year asking you to make a best mods of the year.

I was hoping you'd review and provide feedback on one or more of my mods. I'm working now on my 3rd and close to deploying it. Right now they're only open for PC (in the BG3 mod manager), but I'm hoping to get them approved for console. The two I have out now are Duskblade (class mod, there are a couple others with the same name that aren't mine) and Selune Armory (armor and weapon mod). Both are under the user name WaterWitch83. I literally cannot seem to get my mods (through mod manager) to work, idk what im doing wrong.

definitely dump int for 10 wis. most saves are wis. and keep the act one int item in case its needed pact of sword for bounded weapon. you can always get Shovel as a free pet early on. means not only an extra attack at lcl 5, but also uses cha as skill, instead of str 8.... overal way more benefits shield spell on lvl 1!
