I was born in Pittsburgh in 1947. My mother worked Downtown during the War and wad probably among the crowds on the street that day.

There’s a new horizon now, looking toward the Allegheny, a new landscape, new towers, a new horizon.

any place that is good to live in has people moving there whether it gets publicity or not. 1987 pittsburgh was a good town with good people but everything was in place for it to die slowly. it has been in a death throe since about 2004 that really got bad by 2014... now it is a lost cause. no one is moving to pittsburgh. really bad outdated government and really insane and cruel small dictators is why people are leaving.

Good to see some place of yesteryear but would really love to see downtown especially fifth ave during the 80's when the street was aligned with with shopping stores like Lerners, Becks shoes, Murphy's, Rave, Bakers shoes and so many more. Also when Warner and the rest were still movie theaters.

Our family knew the Winters family since late 1950's before he moved to California..My opinion..he is a comedic genius and mentor to Robin Willians and imitated by many..he is truly missed

Hmmm....it's 2022, and traffic in Pittsburgh still blows. The Parkway West (I-376) section running from Downtown and the borough of Carnegie heading out towards the airport is the only segment of highway on the USDOT's list of Top 10 congested highways in America that ISN"T located in California.

They did the same thing to the Lone Star, Texas U.S. steel plant. That plant looks just like the plant in this video. Cheap imported Mexican, India, and China steel, and greedy union bosses killed this town.

Stage ae and the Bettis grill now sits in left field. According to Google center field was about 20 feet away from the river bed. That's nuts. I never knew exposition park even existed until about 4 years ago, and I'm huge on the history of this city. At 1:19. Thats an old photo of Starkist Studios. Right next to that is now Hyatt Place. A luxury hotel.

I can hear the fans cheering for their own personal favorite player with each grip of the bat and the pitcher is in full ruthless throwing motion the suspense of what lingers on every tic of life's moment whenever the ball is crushed the crowd roars into orgasm if it's outta here it's the memories you will hold but if it's put it's like love I don't know if I'll find other one till the next one comes along
