One of our teachers put up signs in the windows at Gateway Technical School on 7th Ave it spelled out "WDVE" so everyone watching the Today Show would see when they panned cameras toward Pittsburgh. He won some prize for doing this on the radio.

Good to see some place of yesteryear but would really love to see downtown especially fifth ave during the 80's when the street was aligned with with shopping stores like Lerners, Becks shoes, Murphy's, Rave, Bakers shoes and so many more. Also when Warner and the rest were still movie theaters.

I used 54c to go to the mall its no longer there.

We have a lot of great attractions and cultural and heritage events activities and musical phenomena concerts and the BEST SPORTS teams EVER and 3 rivers and multicultural schools and everyone is colorblind here
