I’m very sorry but I don’t see the point in this, plus we all have subscription fatigue, we don’t need another paid service for sth we already have. 😉 I’d rather stick with my well organised-ish Chrome bookmarks. Personally I prefer a knowledge bank rather than bookmarks, but I really struggle to find one that suits me. Thanks all the same for showing us these.

I'm a founding member of Fabric, paying a pretty expensive premium lifetime one off fee. That being said, the app is buggy, slow, poorly laid out and under optimized. And development is PAINFULLY slow. All they do is promise things and never deliver. Don't waste your time on it in its current form. xTiles is way better.

I see you're looking at the Whoop. Be aware it outputs an insanely high level of radiation, non-stop. Not what you want from something that's attached to you 24/7.

AmpleNote is really a great gem. In the end, sticking with something and be consistent is more importante that any specific tool. It is nice to see that while you go around many different things, that your basis keep consistent over the years. Great stuff

No (free) Android app is a real dealbreaker for me at this time. I tried Capacities, and while it's a wonderful Obsidian (and Notion) alternative, I really need a solid Android solution and Obsidian shines where none is available for the Capacities free tier. (I know, I can get it with a Capacities Pro or higher subscription, but I'm focusing my monthly subscriptions on other areas.) So for me, it's obsidian and Syncthing.

I tried Amplenote and yes i can see how it can be very helpful. But it didn't click with me, the pricing is way too high in my country and adding new tasks is a hassle, imo. But i love how you have found your perfect match and you stick with it no matter how many other cool alternatives you come across. I will have to learn this from you. I have found my perfect match; i have quite a history with it but as of late it has helped me tremendously and i can't imagine what i'd do without it. TickTick is the name. Thank you again for this video. Would love if you can share on how exactly not to get tempted by shiny new but still weaker apps because i have made that mistake way too many times and almost lost a fortune :)

How come nobody mentioned the document named "CHILD LABOUR, FERTILITY, AND ECONOMIC GROWTH*.pdf" at 04:41 😂? It's some kind of a research paper, but I'll be damned if he didn't put it in on purpose.

i switched over the Ampnote notes for my task management and journaling. Took a week to fully understand how the backlink system works i still use notion for my wiki's , and project management tool for online collaboration with my team. The key is to understand what AN and other productivity tools are good for. and leverage on each of their strengths wouldnt recommend people to do a complete switch over to amplenote notes from a system they already have

Hi Shu, it has been about a year now since I first came upon your channel. It was probably thanks to you that I installed Raindrop on my Dell Windows 10 PC. Since then you have recommended some other website bookmark taking apps so would there be something that you would recommend more so that Raindrop now. It seems great but there was no AI feature so I'm after upgrading to the pro. Haven't tried it much yet but my main goal is getting an app that can organise bookmarks without me having to choose tags or folders manually.

AMplenote changed my life. I was the typical Notion user that tried different Note taking app that seemed promising. Many of other note/task app had 1-2 features that i sticked on for the first month, and when my tasks start pililng or priorities changed, the old notes taken become obsolete quickly. I always ended back with the Native Note taking app on IOS/ android. But AMplenote changed that for me when i discovered it. THe main selling point was its offline use and backlinks feature. I have stopped losing track of my tasks and ideas since i switched to AN
@joshau234610 күн бұрын
i can vouch for Amplenote. I have stopped losing track of my notes or ideas. A heavy notion user here that switched over i love the Offline feature, and the cross platform compatiblity (ios, android, windows, mac) on Amplenote
