Great video. I worked out my mistake with my crop and you confirmed it. I did not remove the suckers know my plants are falling over because the fruit is too heavy on the sucker branches. I have staked them for now and after this crop, I will be better informed. 2 Questions. Are pepperdews a 1 crop plant i.e. once they have fruited do you recommend the plants are removed? If the above is correct, when should I start my year 2 seedlings? TIA kind regards

Dankie vir die. Ek probeer die goed groei in Melbourne en ek sukkel. Die plant gaan heeltemal dormant in winter en die takke droog uit. Dan as dit somer word, groei hy weer. Maar nie by al die takke nie. Hoe moet ek hom snoei? Of het iemand n link na ander videos asb.

Very popular in North Africa and we use fennel for salad raw or steam. We also used it stewing.

Thanks for the good video. A tip on your pruning shears is to always keep the blade towards the portion you're going to retain. It then makes a nice clean cut without crushing

Fermenting and rotting are two opposite things. Rotting = putrification. Fermenting = making alcohol, fermentation. Fermented = not spoiling.

We've been 100% vegetarian for 52 years but we never had fennel until a few months ago. It was delicious and addictive. We cut it in thin pieces, put it in a bowl, and poured some olive oil and salt on it and mixed it up then laid it on cookie sheets and baked at 325 degrees for about 25 minutes. We recently saw it growing on the side of a hiking trail. Never knew it tasted so good.

THANKS! One of my favourite veggies to plant - not only because of medicinal value of fennel, its readiness to grow and its great taste - but! it is so beautiful to look at, and certainly adorn any veggiepatch! Baie dankie, from Australia!

okay - but here is the problem - where do you get the plants. I ordered some plants from a nursery in Florida and it was a waste of money - I need a reliable source for getting the plants in the first place.

Moringa leaves in my garden are 6 to 7 years old and there are about 100 acres. And the leaves are not used by farmers, only the leaves are used. If you are interested, I can send it to your place.

Thank you so much! I live in Thailand and have for about 5 years now wanted peppadew seeds that I can try to grow over here. Finally, my cousin has sent me some and I'm about to buy a hothouse frame that I'll cover with netting because the snails and worms here love western food haha. I also found some seeds in out local market called 'cherry sweet peppers' and they look just like Peppadews so I'll do a little experiment of my own and see if they are indeed the same thing. My middle name is Juanita and yours was the first video I opened to learn about how to grow peppadews. Hoping for the best. Thank you for your lovely video.

I am in Portugal in the Alentejo region - we have a vineyard and we want to grow these between our vines - is this doable? Red paprikas are grown in the region so there is no reason why these won't grow - i am just not sure how much nutrients the peppers will remove from the vines or do they give back like legumes eg: nitrogen
