This was quite beautiful and all but the worst part happened at the 5:35 mark………when it ended.

Oh this bring back some memories when I watched this several years ago, amid on a larger stage, and this is my favourite number (they had 3 dances on both sides at that time, if i recall correctly). It's amazing how they can do an equally impressive performance in a more intimate setting. Thanks for posting!

It is crazy how they makes such similar sound with completely different movements. Love this.

Because tap was influenced from Irish dance as well.
@MrCvjalexander Жыл бұрын
@@Sean-jc6cu good point and the exchange was two ways. The movements in tap is rooted in African Shuffle dancing. The movement in Irish dance is rooted in clogging. Enslaved people borrowed from Irish dance true, and Irish tappers borrowed from more African forms of dance. American tap is a fusion of forms. I still think is is amazing that they produce the same sounds given the different nature of how they use their feet to produce the sounds. Side note, I think it was not until the 80s that Irish dancers started using taps on their shoes, something American tap dancer originated. Kid of cool how the one influences the other and vise versa.

Badass-feeling when compared 2 the original; the lead commands within, his own troops and it shows in the details of the moves. Extraordinary 🎶💯

The synchronicity of the group in slow motion is awesome! Both principle dancers are wonderfully charismatic. Some say the male lead has a tendency to carry a heavy and unstylish fashion with his arms. Never-the-less, I found his arm expressions to be in sync and appropriately within context, and the style he has, adds a dynamic that effectively accented and embellished his role in what was transpiring. With that said, I could have done without the one yelling part at the end of his solo, but that’s all. (Will refrain from making any comparisons with the large staged Riverdance productions via 1990's. Lets just say you work with what you've got. So it gets a little cozy, I'm okay with that)

I was lucky enough to watch this when me & the misses visited Ireland. I didn’t really know what to expect from the show but I got the gist of it. It far exceeded anything I might have guessed. It was phenomenal! I would watch it again in a heartbeat. So good. I can not fault any part of it in any way.

I really want to like this. But the small stage and reduced cast really kills it for me. The original had an epic feel to it. This....doesn’t.

I don’t understand why they are trying to imitate Michael Flatlets silly moves, outfits and shouting - back to basics please. Also this stage is way too small... great footwork though.
