4 years later and I'm still spiteful. This game has to be the biggest betrayal in gaming history. Sure the gameplay and the graphics are good, but that's not what carried the game, it was the story and this game decided to take the story and just gut it. There are several things that were gutted and wasn't in the first game. First off, the surgery scene. In the first game the surgery room is dirty and the doctor who did the surgery was a brown guy. In the second game the room is clean af and the doctor is WHITE. So they whitewashed him to make him "more relatable" or some shit. Second, the portrayal of the Fireflies. In the first game they're the biggest dickheads. They literally knock out Joel WHILE HE TRIES TO SAVE ELLIE BY GIVING HER CPR BECAUSE SHE NEARLY DROWNED. After he wakes up, they don't even let him say goodbye to Ellie and just tell him to fuck off. In the second game, they're this good guys that can never do horrible things. Third, Joel's intelligence and combat skills. This old man was able to spot an ambush by several meters away and was able to 1v100 an entire military base. In the second game he just trusts strangers and introduce himself to them? Ohh get the fuck out of here, they made him an old retard. It's irritating. The people saying that Joel deserved what he got didn't understood the FIRST game. They say that he "Destroyed the last hope for humanities restoration". First of all, dumbass, the vaccine would've caused more problems. There would've been wars for it or sold off to the wrong people. The Fireflies wouldn't be giving it out for free left and right. The world was in ruins and people adapted so there's no point. Also for Joel saving Ellie being a selfish act is so retarded. Cause most people would do the same. If i was in his shoes, i would've burned the entire base to the ground to make sure noone will come after us. It's the old saying "what's the point of saving the world when you are my world". Ellie doing literal genocide and she doesn't even kill Senator Abbystrong at the end and let her get away is so hypocritical. She sees a flashback of Joel and for some reason she let's her go, WHEN IT SHOULD BE THE OTHER WAY AROUND, it should've made her crush Abby's throat. And if it was reversed, if Ellie gets killed and Joel goes out to avange her, he would kill entire armies to find the fucker who killed her. He would break Abby first, both physically (by beating the shit out of her) and mentally (telling the things him and Ellie went through) then kill her. In the world where zombies, mutants, bandits threaten your everyday life, we have to care about gender identity bs? Why?! Noone cares about that, especially when it's forced. Ellie became the most hollow and boring female character. She is so lame it hurts me. The kinda snarky nerdy girl she was in the first game was a good touch, she was kinda the Light in a Grim Dark World. Now she's a Marry Sue alike. I played the first game in the same year the second game came out. After I finished it, i was just blasted by how well it was written. Yes, it was predictable, but it was still a good story. I was excited to see what will happen in the new game. And when i watched the leak videos, i was emotionally devastated. HOW THE FUCK DID THEY MANAGED TO FUCK UP A SIMPLE STORY THIS BAD?!?!?!?!! And after i found out who was behind all of it, it all made sense. That witch, that subhuman filth, Anita Sarkeesian was part of the writing team. I bet she was the reason the 70% of the dev team left. This game doesn't deserve a 3rd game, since there's no point in making one.

Capcom said during tge development of DLC village, they had an idea of Chris investigation while Ethan was in search for Rose. this idea was originally in main game but scrapped according to Dusk golem. and they wanted to revisit it again for DLC . it’s NOT about Chris vs BSAA story . but at the end they went for Rose story . second , dusk said RE5R is not at development at the moment, so this rumor about RE5R getting shelved doesn’t make sense . and no one in Capcom is interested in remaking RE6 doesn’t make sense because there are no other rumours talking about RE6R. RE9 starring Leon and Jill might get scrapped similer to how was RE7 starring Leon and Sherry before they went with ethan storyline . we will see how these rumors are true or not in the coming months or year .

3:40: Yeah, the rumors and leaks have been consistent that Leon would be the protagonist for Re 9, which is good news to me, he's my favorite character. I had a blast playing Re 4 Remake, and the stories that are usually focused on Leon turn out very interesting. It'd be interesting to see what he's been up to in the years after Re 6 and the CGI movies, there's a huge time gap between Death Island (2015) and Re 9 if it's going to take place in 2025.

I just recently chatted with someone at play Asia about RE9 information they told me that they don't have direct contact with Capcom but only get info from there suppliers . I remember they did the same thing with RE8 before the announcement. So we should hear something soon.

Leon gets taken, claire goes to find Leon, meets up with her brother chris after all these years and they go to try and find Leon. Leon dies at the end, nah, Capcom would not do that. At the end of RE4 at the end it shows that girl gets out of her seat(the one Leon was talking to threw the headset) They betray Leon captures him and Leon is there all these years as a prisoner would explain the age boost. Why capture him??? When Leon gets back with the president's daughter Ashley they captured him, for what🤔. Just guessing here. RE seris is deep in my heart as my favorites that will never leave me.
