Nothing of the sort was ever uttered. That was a false rumour created initially from a simpleton misinterpreting an interview one of the devs said. The dev in question stated that all 3 main areas will feature and be maintained from the OG, but no mention of 'no cut content' in the least. Again you're misinformed and sadly you jumped on an unsubstantiated rumour. 'I don't trust anyone or take anyone at face value' ummm what? Kinda ironic. You lack any form of self awareness when you yourself operated in that manner.

why cut things from a remake? why not just wait some months before dropping the game. what point is there in a remake if you have to go back to the old games to play things they cut? you're better off just modding the old games. my fave thing about re4 was how much content was in the game, but remakes can't have that.

Cuts in 4make was minimal and the very miniscule moments that was cut had things in their place or something that captured the spirit to make up for the loss. I.E salazar boss chase for the OG and boulder chase with Gigante for the remake. Dude the remake is equally as lengthy as the original and is brimming with content. why would they drop leon and claire taking separate routes through the game in re2r? just laziness. and then they have the nerve to have you choose from 4 scenarios that are all identical, to make it look like they kept it in the game. modern devs aren't passionate about games the way they were back when the originals were made, they just hire mindless, w0k3 robotic yes men that will do as they're told without argument. this is why indie devs are rapidly catching up to and even surpassing aaa devs in many ways. indie devs are passionate about games and have no w0k3 supervisors to answer to. indie devs are my only hope for the future of gaming, aaa devs just keep going downhill and will continue to do so.

I think Capcom's best bet is to now do RE1 and I would definitely welcome an RE0. Get an intro to all the big name characters of the franchise for newcomers especially Wesker since RE1 can really flesh out Wesker in the remakes.

Nah I wouldn’t bet on that, those games are already perfect the way they are even if they are outdated they still hold up to this day, to Remake RE0 or RE1 again would not make sense and even if they somehow did it would only certainly bursts out an angry mob of die hard old school RE fans who loved the tank controls and others old school mechanics of survival horror I think what should they be Remaking right now is either Code Veronica, the Outbreak series or RE5 either way I’ll be looking forward to it just long as it is done right and no cutting content BS and half ass game like RE3 Remake

@@johnkamadeva4747 The problem with the original Remake is that it takes place in the old continuity of the games. The newer Remakes or Reimaginings are part of a new continuity that obviously includes RE7-RE8 in it. That said, I would prefer a Code Veronica Remake first over a RE1 again.

@@HeatKingMedia From my observations, the Resident Evil game series has always had just one official timeline, albeit one that incorporates the broad strokes from multiple presented versions of certain events. Even before RE7, for example, there were multiple portrayals for how the events of RE1 played out, none of which were 100% definitively canon. There were the original's Chris/Jill campaigns, the 2002 remake's Chris/Jill campaigns, and the narrative shown in The Umbrella Chronicles. But rather than making multiple separate canons out of them, it appears Capcom would simply pick and choose which elements from each version are canonized, then modify their accepted timeline accordingly with each new games' additions/retcons. In the case of RE1, both Barry and Rebecca were involved, all four S.T.A.R.S. members survived, Lisa Trevor's story described in the remake happened, Wesker's "death" and "resurrection" uniquely shown in The Umbrella Chronicles happened, etc. So I think it is unnecessary to create another set of remakes, just so Capcom can have an individual set of campaign narratives that 100% match up. And certain things have been allowed to remain ambiguous, because the exact way certain events played out is not important, as long as people know the broader strokes of said events.

people sleep on 5 in terms of the story and it’s importance to the Resident Evil universe / lore. it’s the end of the Wesker / Redfield feud that started in RE1 and served as the backbone of the entire series. if they decide to remake 1 or CVX, then 5 is for sure in the pipeline since it would be a great finale for the remake series (and it would tie up all of the loose narrative threads).

The second Verdugo is send after Ada. So 100% its in her campaign. As for U3 I've "heard" you find a file on it ingame. No idea if true but if it is, maybe part of Ada's campaign too. Fingers Crossed.

@@blacktaylore4 The second verdugo fused with Ramon in the original game, however in the remake, he doesn't merge with Ramon and there's no sign of him on the boss fight area. This time, Ramon now transforms with himself. Also, the second verdugo was send to come after ada. Its somewhat confirmed in his video

From some of the files, it shows that the verdugo that Ramon sends after you had turned Ramon’s housekeeper infected and which he dubbed “U-3” and from what we seen, it turns out it got sent after ada TLDR: It’s in separate ways

i hated ada in re4 remake. first of all her voice is the worst voice casting i've seen in a modern game. and then they have her not give the sample to wesker, which is extremely stupid. in the original she clearly gave the sample to wesker to gain his trust, but now they have to try to make her a goody twoshoes with a deep, manly voice. i was so glad they cut most of ada's scenes from the base game, and i lost all hype for a separate ways dlc. i did play it but skipped every cutscene i could because i can't stand hearing that voice. they always find some way to ruin remakes for me. ff7 "remake" isn't even a remake, it's more of a sequel, where it starts out the same but you try to change fate. and they split it into 3 or 4 games to milk the hell out of it. and people were seriously calling ff7 remake part 1 goty, how ridiculous can people be?

@@MrNoot39449 DC Douglas was canned for a combination of contractual problems (something regarding an NDA he failed to keep) and a #metoo allegation. after spending years shitting on Vic whos allegation was provably false and demanding to believe all accusers he got hit with one which had screencaps of messages and his stance 180'd in a heartbeat which was not a good look. all Albert Wesker appearances going forward were someone else, while they try to sound similar it is noticeably different.

that;d be nice. RE1 and zero getting the remake treatment then CV. if they were to create a spin-off, maybe create a remake of outbreak too then 5 and 6. Capcom is honestly settled in terms of ip to release in the next 10 years, they just have to do it right. Not gonna be surprised if the next RE title would be in late 2024 or 2025. -They wanted to make the game "more realistic" but forgot simple details such as allocating weapon storage responsibilities to the Merchant opposed to the extremely unrealistic method being "typewriter storage?!?!?!" -Game play mechanics seem fun but not diving into the game & making my own assessment until all the DLCs are out. -They also sealed up the plot holes of the Krauser story line by creating new plot holes -It's one thing if this new depiction of Operation Javier is not consistent with the original RE4 but inconsistent with the Darkside Chronicles game of 2009? Come on now. -They also omitted Krauser's "strings attached" affiliation with both Ada & Wesker.... -^To make this more understandable, why would a freelancer such as Krauser put all of his eggs into one basket being the Sadler partnership when he instinctively knew that he could be backstabbed? -^Anybody who quits his/her 9-5 full-time occupation to become a freelancer would have multiple streams of partnerships opposed to committing to one source only...it's common sense yet these soy boys at Capcom couldn't even get this right. I remember in the original 4 he was talking about familiarity with Leon which I assumed was the operation they did together in the wii game. And then he also spoke about supposedly dying in a crash and I think that was another operation later on that he did without Leon. I didn't hear all of the dialogue of their fight conversation in the remake but is it possible that when he talked about his team being wiped out and it sounded like Leon wasn't there that it was the operation after the one they did together?

For me a perfect release schedule would be as follows: 2024-25: Resident evil 9 2026: Resident evil 1 remake 2028: Resident evil code veronica remake (with less goofiness plz) 2030:Resident evil 5 remake(with less action and more horrror plz) And sprinkle between those release we could see Resident evil 0 remake, Resident evil 10 and Resident evil revelations 3. Re4 remake is so much better than the original. Never going back to the original, not something that can be said for Re2 remake and especially 3. The originals still hold up well compared to the counterparts. Quick time events suck and U3 being gone is no big loss. Ada side will be canon and longer than the original so that alone makes this version of RE4 that much better. Can’t wait for mercenaries dlc, huge hype.

Regarding content that may have been cut out entirely, replaced, and/or delayed, these are some other observations I have: 1.) If I recall correctly, the original RE4’s debut on the Nintendo GameCube did not have “Assignment Ada”/“Separate Ways”. Rather they were added in later ports. So the RE4 Remake not immediately having a bonus campaign with Ada Wong could still arguably be following the original’s precedents. 2.) Based on footage I saw, the giant Salazar statue now behaves like those fire-breathing dragon statues in the original. Meanwhile, the statue’s original role appears to have been taken up by that armored El Gigante shown in the trailers. I saw it appearing earlier on the castle walls, throwing projectiles at Leon, and having a brief cutscene, where it smashes down a bridge as Leon runs across it. 3.) It appears that the “Minotaur” Ganados and boar-headed machine gunners are meant to act as stand-ins, for the original RE4’s big armored mace-wielding Ganados and J.J. mini-bosses. So I would not consider those enemies to be truly “cut”. 4.) As far as the common enemy types/variants go, the only ones I have still not yet confirmed with my own eyes are the invisible Novistador variants, the black Armadura variant that would sprout Plaga B’s, and the Iron Maidens. However, I did see a supposed figurine image of the Iron Maiden that looked convincing. 5.) Other than U-3 and Saddler’s “Separate Ways” form, I can confirm that I have seen every boss from original RE4 in this remake with my own eyes. As for new boss phases/variants, I have seen Mendez briefly pursuing Leon and Ashley in his human form during gameplay, plus that armored El Gigante revealed earlier.

I would like to know, if the bloody Super Salvador with the sparkling red-hot chainsaw appears in the story campaign? He appeared in place of the regular Salvador in the Chainsaw Demo on the Mad Chainsaw secret difficulty. It would be great to see him woven into the main campaign, as in the original RE 4 he only appeared in Mercenary Mode. Will the game let you fight the Osmund Saddler servants shown in the trailer, who hide their faces? People said that this enemy appeared in REmake 4 due to the implementation of old concepts from the original game. The enemy is called Female Zealot.

Otherwise, the only way I will be playing this RE4 Remake is through buying a used copy. After the RE3 Remake, I have almost zero tolerance for content being cut, without at least something new standing in to make up for it. That is, even though the RE4 Remake does appear to at least be a step up from RE2+RE3 Remakes in that regard, yet still not quite reaching RE1 Remake's standards.

The originals story was written and thrown together in less than 14 days. The plot of the original had no ties to the precious lore of the series and was nothing but cheese ridden schlock that wasn't to taken seriously. Yet here you are holding up Re4 2005 story as some kind of flawless narrative. Just no. The originals story and script was horrendous on all fronts. Main villains revealing their entire plans ahead of time, one of many glaring flaws. The remakes story is leaps ahead of the original. How you so brazenly justify RE4 2005 usage of derivative antics is beyond me. They lifted ideas from the RE movie laser room, verdugo from aliens, krauser from full metal jacket ect.. obvious or not, it still screams of unoriginality that you're so quick to pin on the remakes devs spitefully and insolence. - a huge portion of the dev team that was behind RE4 remakes development have been with the series since its inception all those years ago, long time veterans who have nothing but love and passion for the series and games they undertake. What was cut in RE2R was like 25% i think. RE3R around 50%. RE4R only 10% but keep in my mind how much they expanded more actually. The throne and the laser room was the weakest part of the og and u3 was kinda garbage. Il wait for Ada separate ways and more probably dlcs.

So they cut a decent boss fight and cheesy one liners and another el gigante fight and what do they replace them with? Side quests and treasure hunting. Yeah that's what I think when I think REsident evil. I'm so glad I passed on this farce of a game. I know the original, which I'm not a huge fan of, had treasure, but you rarely had to go out of your way for it. And Ada's voice actress has one of the worst voices I've heard and she's a terrible voice actress.

A remake should respect the original game and not cut but add on to what’s already greatness. Check the dead space remake for reference it nailed respecting the original while making it more modern.

I never liked RE0 personally. Having Rebecca as the main lead and then going into RE1 never made sense. I always kinda like to pretend it never happened lol. I wouldn't mind a Remake if it changed up the plot and actually focused more on Bravo Team as a whole.
