Was always excited to travel up from Aldershot to get on the ferry from South Queensferry to cross the Forth on my way home to Gran's house in Buckhaven when I was just 6-7. Wonderful memories. You can take the girl out of Fife but you can never take Fife out the girl 😁

WE TOOK IN ANOTHER 100 LIGHTS ON TOP OF THE 300 PAR 64,S, BLINDERS I HAD ALREADY PACKED FOR START OF THE 10-1 TOUR., YEAH IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST TOURS I DID BACK IN THE 80,S .. Yes I recognize the Mary pit, near the end of the film. It's such a pity that in those days hardly anyone had the means to record sights, sounds etc. I would love to see more footage like this, but it's all too scarce.

I immediately recognise this clip from the sign on the road from lochgelly to glencraig the beware of subsidence ,road sign,as a bairn I always wondered what that meant,but seeing this film it brings it all back.thanks so much for posting this it should be in a museum it is priceless.
