I also think it would be better if the point values were devided by 5.
@markusjagering744913 сағат бұрын
I think it's better when a round is played until only one player has cards in his hand. And that player gets points from the remaining cards in his hand and points are a bad thing just like in hearts.
@hanng124219 сағат бұрын
18:30 Should have played the full house with the 4's, then the full house with the K's, so that he could win the round by leading the J after the two full houses. I think it would be a better strategy than the one you demonstrated because if the first full house went unanswered, it is likely that the second full house would also go unanswered, meaning that the south player would be able to win the round leaving many more cards in his opponents' hands. Big Two, along with the other Chinese climbing games are good candidates for custom card decks because aces are also usually high, meaning that one can get creative with the designs of the 2's, the A's and the Jokers leading to an expanded "court" of Jack through Jokers. Also, in at least one of the most popular Chinese climbing games, Dou Dizhi (Fight the Landlord), suits are irrelevant, which invites making a custom deck that does away with suits altogether so that the deck looks less busy relative to the information actually needed on the cards.

i dont like the 5 card spread because the money safe will always fall negative to the woman card and positive for the man card. since the cards are delt out only to one direction of the signifier card, many cards are affected in a similar way.

I think we should emphasize that this game is the PINEAPPLE OFC POKER. This is because there exists a game called PINEAPPLE POKER. I am glad you showed us an obscure game that is marvelous and not known on the Internet.

At first glance, it seems that the first player has an advantage. But since it is allowed to combine dice, there is no such advantage. It's a nice game.

Having gotten used to the standard Hanafuda deck as popularized by Nintendo, I prefer it compared to modified decks even with modern games. I already memorized the flower suits with the months. In the Korean game, the November and December flower suits are swapped places. The game will play as well with the standard Hanafuda deck.

cool variant! At first I thought about "Crag" (another "yatch" or "Generala" variant with three dice) but this is different... theres not enough dice games!

Hi there! I am from Argentina and Yahtzee is known as Generala here! No difference whatsoever really. In my household we have a special rule that before you roll your dice you can say out loud 'one from beneath!' and that means that you will turn one die to its opposite side, although that's mandatory and you must turn that die, even if you had a served combination of dice. It can be really cool and fun, but it can also kill your points sometimes.

Hello! Thank you for sharing your house rule. That sounds like a way to add a fun risk!

Very good tutorial! We always played with 32 cards ( in case of 4 players), so 7 through Ace. And 33 cards in case of 3 players (the 6 of hearts is added). We also played with JoC 2 points and QoS 5 points, making a total of 15 points. If you collect all cards with a penalty, it is 15 points to your opponents, and if you collect all tricks, it is 20 points to all opponents. Also in phase 2, you have to end exactly on 0, otherwise you keep playing. This adds an extra tactic to the last phase of the game as you really have to think about what trick to take and what not.
@danabent176210 күн бұрын
Rowen, when playing with 32 cards, which card leads to begin the round? Also, how many points do you play to before heading back down to zero?

Corner indices were invented in the mid-19th century (US Patent 42587, 9 February 1864). The card designs with the pattern of pips were sufficient to allow players to identify the cards with relatively little of the card exposed; but it is still hard for us modern players to imagine playing with such cards. Artwork of card players does show them spreading the cards pretty widely. The backs were also blank, but that's a whole 'nother story.

Ok, maybe I don't understand all the rules, but I have try multiple time this game and I'm pretty frustrated because look like a can't win. Each time I draw 3 cards I can't play and the game is over pretty quickly.
@riffleshuffleandroll16 күн бұрын
Can you give me an example of what you mean? The only time you cannot play a card is if the number doesn’t help you get to the total needed, or it is the wrong suit to be a trigger. How many jokers are you using?
@leap766714 күн бұрын
For exemple Only one monster are on the board but I have already placed 2 cards on it, All the cards I draw don't give the final blow. Or I have 1 card on the monster, but all cards I draw don't sum for the total of life.

I don't see the mancala influence. You don't really pick up and sew a piece one space at a time as you move across
@riffleshuffleandroll20 күн бұрын
I understand where you are coming from. For me, the connection is the moving of the token around the board, the sewing of the dice, and then the picking up and relocating of the matching numbered dice to an adjacent garden.
