This is a pretty cool game idea. But I think the card deck itself should represent your health, rather than discarding cards that represent hits.

Hi, thank you for your video. This is the best video so far that explains the game and gives good examples of how to play. I have one question about the bids and what is the rule with hook. How does that work? What do you mean by the simultaneous bids and what is the difference with the hook bids. Is there a rule on how to place bids? I do not know the rules or understand the rules on biding.
@mizukarate22 сағат бұрын
Seems like you could play this solo.

Dude no way player should bid 6. One spade and too heavy in hearts to win with the king edited 😂say nice job before I started picking. ❤

It would be great if it had an option for a 4-way game with yellow chips instead of a tag team.

Hey wanted to ask a question. Let's say we end up in the situation where we use a king of a spades on a 10, which practically beats any monster, do we still have to throw a random number and then trigger card? Or do we only play the trigger card, since the king of spades is part of the 3 cards? If possible please answer this, cause I found it a bit confusing. Thank you in advance

In the 5 Alive card game, the "Wild Cards" card is included in 108 cards? Or does it have to be 109 cards in total?

Does the player that illegally played the draw 4 still get to change the color even if they have to draw 6 as the punishment?

Yes. They still choose the color.

So, great instructions… However, not good information on detail. How do you unlock the deck when you have a blocked three? It’s our first time and we’re trying to play by your rules, but there’s not enough information. Help!
@riffleshuffleandroll21 күн бұрын
A frozen pile can be unfrozen if a player has two natural cards that can be melded with the top card on the discard pile. Black threes are a little different in that if you have two other black 3’s, you can immediately unfreeze the pile by melding the black 3 with the two other black 3’s n your hand.

Mark, if you read this thanks for clear the dungeon; which inspired me to create a, i hope acceptable, card game that is James bond themed, since I don't think the one named after him is exactly themed other than maybe its as if you're fighting an opponent due to its fast pace. So if youd like to use my 007 themed game for a video since i wouldn't have thought possible to create a card game on my own then yeah id love to show you how to play it somehow, I've tested it and modified it to be as much fun as possible while still fair with a bit of strategy and it ended up better than what i expected for someone so new to cards, its a 2player game maybe it could be played with 4 in teams of 2, it would be better to show you than writing how its played, and definitely would love to see and improved, altered etc version by someone more experienced, hopefully still keeping it as close to bond themed as possible, on mine ultimately it's up to keeping each players queen alive since you're on her majesty's secret service, the jack is now the james, and both players have double agents within their ranks👋👏

@@riffleshuffleandroll edit: video on channel yeah I wanted to create a video but I've been having troubles with my PC, and since it doesn't seem to be resolved any soon then I'll upload it through my phone; I'll record it tomorrow, and put another comment here; and thanks again, it's just enough with that you don't have to promise me anything and play it however you feel it needs to be changed, it's nothing that mind breaking of a creation
I feel like this could be played with 2 standard decks, stripped down😅

Man, you have almost everything wrong. The Ace is 1 point, not 11. And sets of cards in your hand are not melds. Melding is when you put down a set.
@riffleshuffleandroll23 күн бұрын
There are different ways to play. This is an old video, so it is rough. Thank you for reminding me that I need to do a new one. There are two types of melds: sets and runs. As soon as you have three or more cards in a set or run, you have a meld. In gin, you hold your cards until the end, so when you call it a meld is pretty irrelevant... since everything is declared at the end of the round.

At 4:55, why not keep the 2 and discard the 5 before knocking?
@greg5566624 күн бұрын
At 4:20, that looks like deadwood of 29, not 9. The J and K are not in a set.
