Many comments here defend the future pokemon and I think for good reason. They do still have their good points, they are just less obvious with the past paradox mon. I mean if you look at what both sets of pokemon strive to be is "primal pokemon from the past" and "mechanized pokemon from a dystopian future". I don't think I have to explain what the past pokemon have going for them, they just ooze pure cool out of their design. The future mon however achive exactly what they are designed to be. They are supposed to be pokemon picked straight from a soulless production line that pumps out one after the other. They are designed to be uniform, this is best seen in their shiny form, it's the pokemon that just haven't gotten their coat of paint yet, a production error. The problem with this is the "cool" factor. Having a uniform design just isn't very "cool", plain and simple. So yea, while their theming is pretty well done it also holds them back from breaking the mould too much.

Nice video, cool to see overlooked pokemon get the light of day. Also, armor tail only block priority moves used against the user's team, so you would have been able to use confey to heal quilladin in the last battle. And here is another nuget of trivia: dark type pokemon are not inmune to prankster priority from an ally.

To be honest, when I first bought my first Pokémon game, it was Pokémon Scarlet. (When I was younger, I didn't have any consoles). In 2023, I got money from my family since it was the Chinese New Year and I was happy to be able to buy the switch since I absolutely wanted it since 2018. I was first going to buy Pokémon Violet.. but then... Koraidon literally looks so menacing. Eventually I bought Pokémon Scarlet. Absolutely never regretted my last minute decision to buying Scarlet instead of Violet.

The reason I didn't picked Violet until the one with DLC pack got released is the amount of bugs present in that version being reported. Plus I'm that kind of person who is sometimes stuck in a grim past and I like easy shiny spotting.

I do regret that I don't get to play with Great Tusk, or Roaring Moon, but there are upsides to Violet. Whether those upsides are justifiable, or just cope, is up to interpretation. :P

I picked violet for miridon and the colors of the uniforms and professor turo. But yeah the paradox pokemon do suck. I don't regret getting violet since i can trade to get the paradox mons. I just really hate the scarlet color they chose.

So many people got lured to Violet by the cyber-cycle and get bald robots, glad I stuck with Scarlet with my gorgeous ancient mons.

I bought scarlet but I really prefer the violet paradox mons. We got Tusk, Roaring Moon, flutter mane and those a really the only ones I really care for. But I stuck with it after knowing the Paradox pokemon due to Armouruge and Koridon. But anyway I had a friend who could trade me Valiant, thorns, bundle, hands, and moth. I don't have the dlc so that doesn't factor in.

I choose the colour i liked more. I choose poorly (i also had no idea paradox pokemon existed when buying)

You have to respect the fact that they put extra thought into what the upgrades and mechanisms of each future paradox pokemon was Iron leaves extending swords Iron valiant glaives Iron bundle cannon Iron treads a freaking ball which is how most people remember donphan at all Iron thorns and its retractable spikes While that past ones have only feathers and scales with a dash of Edginess looking more like discount Digimon evolutions than worthy past paradox pokemon I support great tusk and sandy shocks But the others are lazy uninspiring up vote bait In my opinion

Im not a big fan of most of the future paradox pokemon only liking iron moth because i like volcarona and iron valiant because its an interesting design but the rest are just the pokemon but robot. I prefer the past paradox pokemon as they look more unique instead of just robot they are more dinosaur but they have more variety.

This is why my main game is Scarlet despite getting Violet first(Yes the Scarlet file also got the ability to use thr flying pikachu but that wasn't really a factor) The shinies also don't help since literally all the future paradox mons are the same shade of grey(It works well on Iron Thorns, but he's the only one) while Scarlet's is actually more like the original shinies, and with Miraidon and Koraidon, we all know who's the better shiny

I felt robbed when I saw the violet Paradox Mons for the first time in the Game. I had to buy violet because it was my favourite Color but if i had known beforehand i wouldve definitly gotten scarlet. And thats not even mentioning the awful violet shinies.The only good Violet Paradox Pokemon is Iron Valiant in my Opinion.

i completely disagree the futuristic designs of paradox pokemon are a million times better than the sad excuse of pokemon design in scarlet only thing scarlet has over violet is theres better competitive pokemon and not to mention miriadon is the cooler legendary than koriadon

I think the robots are cool but I think the paradox pokemon can be more cubernetic an example can be an amoonguss but it has a futuristic visor with a target eye like deadshot and the 2 hands are metallic chainsaws and the head can become a propeller as it splits in 2 a bit. It’s the same base but has the fururistic enchantments

They gave Delibird a freaking cannon. I’m pretty happy with the Violet mons.

I love the idea of the robot mons but hate that it was poorly executed. Miraidon feels like a Pokémon that evolved to incorporate electronic components to its body, while the rest of the violet paradox mons just feel like robots modeled after Pokémon.

After seeing the leaks, and still getting Violet, I prefer the violet paradox mons. Scarlets looks WAYYYYY to try hard like the meme of the edgy hamburger helper drawing lol “Drew like a dark, f----- up version of Amoonguss. haha. Just a glimpse into my dark reality”

I regret getting Violet over Scarlet. I do like the robotic designs, but the shinies are lame, so I don't care about the ability to shiny hunt them, and most players got Violet, so it's very hard to get trades for Scarlet exclusives. I'd much rather have the ability to shiny hunt the much better looking scarlet shinies coupled with easier trading for Violet exclusives. I still haven't been able to get ahold of Raging Bolt or Gouging Fire

I like quaxly and his evo I think they are good evolution the only reason why this pokemon got so much hate is because 1 it not fan Direction which is stupid to me 2 other reason is because this community is toxic 3 because people don't know what is a bad design and like the design in there term 5 the dev research these detail in it design to make it more interesting, unique and memorable. Like I see a couple of comments saying that they like dancing ideas of quaxly evo be they say they mess up the evolution which I don't they mess up quaxly evo you don't know how samba dancer wear or quaxwell design is base of swimmer and his hair is a swimmer cap
