How I (Almost) Took Quaxly to Master Ball Tier

An ode to (the 10 or 15) Quaxly fans everywhere.
Happy New Year! This video took me far too long to make and I didn't include quite a bit of what I could.

I’ll have you know I immediately knew I was gonna pick my newest son, Quaxly, and named him Archie. After my dadd- father Archie from Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire I’d say both Archies would be proud to see these results. I’m very happy to see the duck be given some love

Quaquaval is definitely my favourite Starter , I love its Aqua step and the first time i tried it , that was the most fun Ive ever had in a pokemon game! As well as it being fun , It was a Water/Fighting type , Fighting being my favourite typing and water being the starter group that I always choose , I absolutely love it!

I recently have been pushing a strange spewpa/chargabug set, with spewpa as a evolite tank with the freind guard ability to boost survivability and rage powder. and chargabug as a support Mon with an ability that juices up special attack on the team by 30%

Hey, it's nothing personal to Quaxly. I've just always picked the fire starter in my first playthrough and Skeledirge looked sick when I got him. I'd say Quaxly is just as cute though!

You know what - they should add an item that buffs Pokemon that are below specific Total Stats value (I would normally say offensive Eviolite, but Pokemon who would take them most from it would be strong first stage mons like Scyther, which misses the point).

U don’t know how many large KZbinrs title their video “(weak Pokémon here) vgc/competitive team”, just to use that Pokémon in one battle out of 4 and it gets knocked out instantly lmao and then they act like the Pokémon achieved greatness. I thought Politoed can only learn Muddy Water through breeding in Gen 9. I could be wrong though!

I loved Quaxly at first sight. Then I saw its evolution: I was deceived and disappointed. In my mind, I thought he wore a beret as a wink to Basque Beret. I thought he would evolve in some Marine guy fashion, like Popeye and a wink to the Age of Discovery (Columbus) or the Spanish Armada. Either of those. I really thought it was going to be this overly manly Pokémon like Rillaboom, Incineroar, Chesnaught or Emboar that people love to hate, or hate to love. We got... a dancing Peacock. Which could be an amazing idea, but they made it so bad. At least Hitmontop has an idea behind it, and was more "monster" than "humanoid". Quaquaval really tip you in a discomfort zone. Either too humanoid or not enough. I despise it.

I like quaxly and his evo I think they are good evolution the only reason why this pokemon got so much hate is because 1 it not fan Direction which is stupid to me 2 other reason is because this community is toxic 3 because people don't know what is a bad design and like the design in there term 5 the dev research these detail in it design to make it more interesting, unique and memorable. Like I see a couple of comments saying that they like dancing ideas of quaxly evo be they say they mess up the evolution which I don't they mess up quaxly evo you don't know how samba dancer wear or quaxwell design is base of swimmer and his hair is a swimmer cap
