I have model no.2 which I like couse the blade looks like modern tactical kukri and its good carbon steel. It has negative like I supose this no.4 where on the down and uper side of the handel the rubber is too agressive but it's easy to fix.

The bottle opener locks in place because it's a pry tool. The mystery tool is a marlin spike and shackle key designed for undoing knots and opening tightly locked shackles.

Servus, willst Du damit etwa sagen, daß es keinen Kienspan in Österreich gibt!!??
@woodrick1
@woodrick1 6 ай бұрын

I have one but I changed the supplied cord with 550 Paranoid, it now has more flex and is unlikely to break as the plastic rope did, always worth customising thing like this, especially if you intend to use them for sd.....

NOT a "switchblade" which is an automaric knife!!! 😡 It is a FLIPPER with thumb studs if for wharever reason you don't want to use the flipper tab. It is not even assisted opening!!! On mine, at least, a hard shake ("flicking") does NOT open the blade. Calling it a "Switchblade" cost you ALL credibility. If you are going to do a review, at least know what you are talking about!!!😡😡🤬😡 Good bye.😡🤬 the brand is JIN JUN HANG by the way, NOT "Ned Foss". Ned MAY have designed it (I don't know if he did.) Jin Jun Hang manufactures it as their "Professional Slingshot and Knife 2-in-1 Combination" model. Available all black (excluding the tubes and pouch, which are a different color) or silver (again with different color tubes and pouch.) My black version came with red tubes and dark brown pouch.

You're right, I misspoke and I'm well aware of the differences, but not a native speaker. Definitely no assisted opening on this one, but the detent isn't that strong on mine. Amazon is selling it under the brand name "Ned Foss".

Beautiful knife ..the same form and parametres like Aplegate Fairbairn Sykes...today produced by Böker...the steel is the same too...this one is better..you can use it for batoning for partly edged back of the knife..the rest is thick... and firesteel..inside the handle there are two weighted metal plangets for better throwing like origin Aplegate FS dagger....I like this knife👍👍

I carry "Scout carry" most of the time horizontal on my belt but when Spring /summer comes I switch to "Neck carry" - best way to conseal the blade and quickest to deploy... Just put paracord or something like that instead of beads - they intend to rust because of the sweat...
@hiyawaskuh1810
@hiyawaskuh1810 Жыл бұрын
He covered this. Paracord needs 550 depending to break. Beads are made to break. You could enter a self defense situation or a slip trip fall that could lead to you being suffocated with a Paracord necklace. The beads, more importantly the bead connection is made to break free with minimal force thus keeping you from being strangled in a shtf scenario
