What if beards are supposed to be gnarly and not pretty? Can you show a deadlocked beard video?
@JCGrooming8 ай бұрын
If you meant dreadlocked, I don't rock that style, but I can definitely make a new video for a less structured look if that's what you're looking for!

What haircut is that like what do you tell your barber to eventually get your hair like that?
@JCGrooming8 ай бұрын
I would tell them mid skin fade on the sides/back, leave volume and texture for a pushed back hairstyle on top.

All he did was trim the sides to make the front more apparent in A square like shape.

What is the max concentration of essential oil a person can use in say a 30oz bottle of beard oil?
@gustavoalonsolopezwolf90982 жыл бұрын
So my beard is kind of curly what product do you recommend I use I've tried oil but it just leaves my beard really shiny snd then it's hard to style. Wax works great but I feel like it's too harsh on the beard then I tried butter. I once let it grow about 6 inches but since I didn't know how to shape it I messed it up and end it shaving it all off

haha! If you're looking to straighten, nothing works better than a blowdryer and round brush. we have videos showing this process on our channel

I really enjoyed this video! I think you explained things easily and efficiently! Thank you so much for the content (: When making a beard product do you suppose it would be a good idea to use a flavor oil like those used in lip balms, so it's edible? I imagine, much like lipstick or scrub, a beard product could be accidentally ingested being so close to your mouth. I just wonder if it would create a sticky residue or something of the sort.

Any tips for a somewhat patchy beard?
@mario6505 ай бұрын
Depending on where your patches are or weak spots, I'd suggest working around it. For instance, on my cheeks there's some lighter areas that I'll leave alone upon trimming and let it grow out. Each beard is different. However, if you trim the patchy area, you're only exposing it more. Also, look into beard growth serums and use it every day on the weaker spots. There's plenty of videos out there as well. Hope this helps a bit.

Hah, not at all! If you want more inspiration on that look, search for beard sculpting. There are a lot of guys who want a very square, straight-edged beard and it looks really nice!

So I'm kind of new to taking care of a long ish beard and my stylist suggested a leave kn conditioner/ beard mask. I just tried this, I used coconut oil instead and im actually super impressed how well this worked my beard is super soft to touch. And my beard smells like coconut.

How long would you say it took you to get to this growth ?
@JCGrooming3 жыл бұрын
That takes about 4-5 months for me if I were to start from clean shave. Its hard to say exactly since I haven’t shaved in so long but that’s the best estimate. Hope it helps!

Brother your hair setup tips plzz.. what you using in you hair...
@JCGrooming3 жыл бұрын
Hey rocky! I use Rudy’s hair clay. Bend over and hang your head low while blow drying to get some volume. At the end blow it all forward, then blow it backwards for a little extra volume. Finish it with the cold setting on the blow dryer. Put some clay at the roots to hold it and you’re good to go!

Horrible. Talks for ten minutes before he even does anything. Then doesn't even demonstrate or show him actually trimming. Good effort though.
@JCGrooming4 жыл бұрын
Hey Heather! Sorry you didn’t find the video useful. There are a lot of questions that men have surrounding their at home trims, so my goal is to answer all of those questions up front and help people move forward with confidence - that’s why we have a 3 minute intro to answer those questions. In the video I did demonstrate the decisions I make as I trim, and the order and technique for each section. With those things in mind all that’s left is to start clipping. I do demonstrate the actual process in this video, but the main purpose of the video is discuss what’s actually going on under the scissors. If you want to see a full video of the entire trimming process, check out the video I made where I used clippers to trim. The process is the same as the scissor trim, but uses electric clippers instead. If you watch that you’ll get a better idea of the demonstration of the actual process. Thanks for the feedback!
