Great tutorial Jack 👌 You can tell you've done that a few times! Confidence comes with experience but either way it will grow back! Mixing up your style makes it fun having a beard! 👊🔥🧡🇦🇺

Thanks Rob! Haha yes I’m a do-it-yourself guy through and through so this was something I had to learn! I still make mistakes every now and then but keeping calm and learning to fix them goes a long way.

Came out really nice man. Definitely got a much fuller look now since you don't have that transparency towards the bottom anymore. Very very nice. Also great tutorial. Will definitely be using this as a guide for my next trim. Already got my clippers and trimmers on the way.

Thanks a lot brother! It takes some time and touching up but you really can change up the shape nicely at home without taking too much off!

Great video! First time I've ever been allowed to cut my husband's beard (lockdown desperation) I did a great job, so thanks.

Thanks Nicole! I’m so glad you did a good job, probably earned some major brownie points!! Nothing like being able to help the people you love feel great about themselves during these crazy times

Sooooo, is it wrong that I like that initial boxy look? I like it! Coming up on my first trim, in about a month. Lots to figure out.

Hah, not at all! If you want more inspiration on that look, search for beard sculpting. There are a lot of guys who want a very square, straight-edged beard and it looks really nice!

In this video I was using a very low cost Wahl clipper set I picked up at Target for around $15. You really can use anything to get a good trim!

Don't ever trim fly aways , they are hairs on new life cycles . Your beard will never grow if you keep trimming the new hairs . The old hairs fall and all you are left with is badly trimmed new hairs , THINK ON !!!!

Hey Ian! You make a good point - perhaps I’m not using the right term when I say flyaways. What I mean to say is this: trim the hairs that have grown longer/faster than those around them, causing them to stick out. We all know that hairs grow at different rates and that’s the main cause for your beard looking unkempt after a few weeks. In this particular case I’m looking to shorten/maintain the length that I have. A trim for someone looking to continue their growth would look much different. That’s a great idea for a video of its own. I appreciate your input and for keeping me honest!
