woahhhh is this blender? I kinda wanna get into 3d animation to make my own models but idk what apps to use, or what computer you'd need tbh ;-;

@@goddessofweird2519 Yep! This is blender! I definitely would recommend it as an animation program because it's good, open source, and there's so many tutorials out there that you can learn to do pretty much anything! As far as a computer goes, you definitely don't need top-of-the-line stuff. Just start with what you have. I think that's better anyways because you learn how to work within the limits of your system and therefore learn best practices. If I can offer some advice for getting started, it would be to start with creating something you're interested in, and to start slow. Also, always try to one-up yourself instead of comparing yourself to others. Hope that helps! Good luck!! :D

@@wolf-marks9353 Yeah!! Go for it!! There's a lot of good tutorials out there on getting started in blender. My best advice to someone getting started is to not give up if it feels overwhelming. Just start small and work on something you're passionate about! Good luck!! :D

If you can, add cel shading! It'll make it look a lot better than it does now and make it look more cartoony. (Not saying they're bad, it's way better than what I have patience to do)

Yeah, it can be a lot. I've found it helps to think about it as a skeleton. Sometimes painting the weights yourself can so also help.
