Can someone explain this to me, pls? I am kinda new, but I read the wand building wiki. What I think I get is: - The divide reduction on damage is countered by the heavy hit. - The tentacle is not consumed by spell to power, but kinda keep getting activated until the tentacle vanishs by itself. - The accumulated damage is given to the bolt. - The divide by 3 uses the Omega 3 times, creating a 3 new "casts" of everything above. - Then a recursive amount of this spell is created almost instantly, and on the end, and a exponencial amount of bolts, that accumulated a lot of damage frol the exponential amount of tentacles, hit the target almost at the same time, doing this damage. Is that it?
@calmlittlebuddy3721Ай бұрын
The way I was told it works is something with spells to power and tentacle with timer allows spells to power to absorb itself multiple times causing an exponential effect. Here is the wiki gg link for the interaction noita.wiki.gg/wiki/Summon_Tentacle#Advanced_Guides it should be at the top of that section.

So this is a great build for beginners to succeed... but success in Qud isn't necessarily what makes it fun. This is a true rogue and death is a natural part of the game. Qud is all about the world building, the lore, the sprite artwork, the struggle, and how good it feels to prevail over it, and the crushing feeling of your success turning into an AIDS infection and ultimately having your brains dashed against a force wall by one of your, "allies". That's why I recommend the EGO build. Look, this is no guarantee of success so use the save at settlement feature. Apostle - max ego stat - esper - light manipulation - force wall/bubble - beguile. The goal - boost your ego to the sky by all means possible and light manipulation to make it through the early game, then hire a menagerie of the most deranged NPCs in the game, and use force to protect yourself from their, "friendship." Slog? Friend. That sky bear? Friend. Wardens? Legendaries? All potential friends. Take random mutations every 4 levels until you have a good toolkit, then you can start leveling your most reliable skills. You're going to die, you companions are going to blast you in the back of the head, use burgeoning right on top of you, create minions that turn on you, and be the most dangerous menace in the game... but ultimately... you're gonna see what the game has to offer and it'll be fun.
@calmlittlebuddy3721Ай бұрын
@@zachb8012 I was asked by several viewers to post this. They were not having fun dying to low level mobs and asked for build advice. They said the videos for new players had too much info and wanted a quick, easy build w simple instructions so they could learn without repeated frustration of dying with no clue why. Don’t get me wrong, I love experiment and learning and failing. But I’ve come to realize (learned this when playing Noita and viewers kept trying the game and immediately installing mods due to high death rate), many players hate the combination of steep learning curve plus high mortality rate. As I said in the video, this isn’t a complete guide and it’s not for everybody. This is for the player who is frustrated and wants somewhere to start.
@zachb8012Ай бұрын
@@calmlittlebuddy3721 Yeah dude, I get it, the gun bird is a strong start and Qud comes at you hard. It's not until you die a good 20 times that you even start realizing when you're in danger. The new player experience is... well it's not great. Even the more seasoned players are constantly meeting their end like, "what's a qlippoth? Oh, well, I have been handling these goat dudes well so far."

isnt zeta good to just rapid fire nukes? like, just stick zeta on a mediocre wand and 2 chainsaws?
@calmlittlebuddy3721Ай бұрын
@@marianocenteno4603 zeta copies a random spell from another wand. So you’d need to have the wand w Zeta and only one other wand with one spell (in your case Nuke). Zeta would save you a ton of mana in that case but at the cost of only having 2 wands, both of which only cast Nuke. I could see in specific circumstances setting that up w Nuke or other high end spells w limited charges, then picking your other wands back up after. Just seems like a lot of work unless you have a specific reason to go through the hassle.

How did you winterize ur pool for $50
@calmlittlebuddy3721Ай бұрын
Bought a reliable kit on amazon. I live in New England and have temps below 10 degrees F for up to a week and it was fine. The big trick is you need to start from perfectly balanced and clean/clear water, don't let it get hazy or off before closing. Obviously keep it tightly covered with the proper waterproof cover and floatation device to keep water off the cover.. Kit had 1 qt. Pool Winterizing Inhibitor 1 qt. Pool Winter Stain-Away 3 lbs. Chlorine-free winter pool shock 1 Winter Pool Floater - 4 lbs. "non-chlorine" winter oxidizer 1 Winter SorbTM, oil absorbent winter chemical sponge Usually $60 plus delivery but you can get it on sale off season for $50 total. Why how much does it cost you? Or are you counting the price of the pool cover, the cabling and floaters?

This wand reminds me of a scene from Rick and Morty, where a character dies instantly with no apparent cause, and the other characters are confused as to what happened. This wand is just like that. One moment, you're Noiting around, the next moment you've been Noita'd by a funny wand. Pretty interesting how this works.

Oh, I thought you couldn't cast zero-charge spells even through Greek letters and that infinite casting of charge-limited spells required the Wand Refresh to stop the real version of the spell from being casted (or having to use gamma and then swap wands to reset the wand).

Some info about the yellow glasses, because they might or might not do something..... If your glasses block a certain frequency (range?!) they are called Polaroid glasses, because these polarize light. With polarization you filter light in a way that it moves in 1 direction instead of every direction, when you achieve this you can block a certain frequency (range?!) in this case you have Polaroid glasses, and on the glass should have a frequency (very small letters, possibly on a sticker that you immediatly remove or in the Infosheet/manual/piece of paper that comes with it. And yes Yellow IS the color that is opposite the light-spectrum of Blue --> Violet, but if it is not a Polaroid then its colored glass, if it IS Polaroid then the glass is yellow because of the Blue=>Violet filter that is present between the 2 layers of glass. (more expensive too)
@calmlittlebuddy37212 ай бұрын
@@Gardureth I appreciate the information. I have my prescription glasses custom made. I have my blue block polarized “clear” glasses for regular everyday stuff and the UV/Bluelight block glasses I have are the custom ones I had made specifically for use at work and streaming as I use a screen close to 14 hours a day. “Polaroid” is the brand name so no, these are not brand name but yes they are polarized and more importantly UV blocking. The clear ones work very well but the full polarized yellow ones keep me from getting blurry/tiny letters after 6 hours. TBH I wish they were closer to clear but I have an identical set, same frames, same script, same company of clear ones and they just don’t work as well after 6 hours. Again appreciate the concern as yea some folks just buy off Amazon or at target or pay lenscrafter extra for plain yellow tint they call “gaming glasses”, but when you’re like me and it’s risking a migraine if ya get it wrong, I’d rather get the real deal despite the hassle of having to shop around and test.
