I completely agree with you! I have a 2017 Dodge Durango, and I want to upgrade it because it did not come with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. 😤 I went to the dealership, and they told me it was impossible for me, and I should go aftermarket if I wanted all these features, which I know is not true. 😡 Because I have friends who have later-model Durangos that upgraded their radios from newer models, and they have Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. #Dodge #Durango #AndroidAuto #AppleCarPlay #CarUpgrade #Aftermarket

Hello... This is the older version its not in your best interest to purchase this exact one.. They have a newer version with a updated resolution a updated system and the screen is a little bigger... This one is running a older operating system and has many problems right now, and im not even sure if they are still offering software updates for it..

Sounds like a ground issue.. the first thing I would do is take the radio back out unplug each connector and reconnect them one by one making sure everything is sitting flush.. I would also make sure nothing inside the dash is touching tape down any wiring that doesn't have shielding over it.... Next reboot the radio after making sure the previous steps are completed

Yes,...mine Actually does... And yours should too my cousin Actually has one installed in a explorer and his does... not sure If this would have something to do with your cars accessory or they may not have provided you with the correct wire harness for that feature.. im not very familiar with ford.. but I would assume it's missing the accessory wire on the harness..

Usually by tapping the screen, if that dosent work, try a hard reset of the unit.. if that dosent work you may want to contact the seller, as they have been selling a lot of defective units...

Definitely doesn't need to come from another Durango.. Depends on what type and size radio your upgrading to.. in order to get the correct parts. Meaning Bezel for say a double din and wiring harness that fits your vehicle unless you like to splice into wires and make your own connections. But you can put just about whatever radio you want in them.

Can’t hear the music I’m playing in the background. It’s like the audio doesn’t transfer from the radio to the video on my phone. Hard to explain lol

Ok so if your recording from your phone and the audio isn't transferring while connected to Bluetooth that could simply be a setting in the ap that your recording from.. ill read the message again a few more times to try to truly understand what it is your saying because like you said its hard to explain so im having a hard time understanding exactly what it is your trying to do... A lot of apps that record though have settings to where you can include audio or cut it out, if you get what I'm saying. Check the settings in the app your using to record and see if that could be causing the issue.. still not 100% sure if your recording on your phone or from the radio when this issue is occuring... But I will definitely try to help figure this out once I know exactly whats going on...

Hello my guy... ill definitely try to help although I'm more familiar with durangos.. if everything is connected properly and I mean triple check!! Do a reboot of the radio by holding in the reset button for about 10 seconds even after the screen is fully off continue to Hold it in for another 5 seconds let it fully reboot before touching anything, and then give it a try... let me know what happens...

I haven't ran into that issue, but what do you mean by it just reset? and you said it dosent show your ac or heat? Are you talking about the controls for the ac and heat? Thats what I mean by not recommending it at this point.. there's waaaay to many bugs for how much they cost and the sellers are terrible with solutions... try to do a hard reset and see if that works if not you may have to request a firmware from the seller...

Hello thanks for watching... Can I ask was it rebooting before the upgrade? If not redownload the upgrade file and from whatever source you received it from and reinstall the upgrade... There may be a corrupted file causing it to reboot.. if it continues to do this even after a fresh install of the current file request a new file from the seller letting them know you think the previous file may be corrupted then reinstall.. you should be good from there if not I would roll back to the previous files in which the radio was working and wait until a newer version is released

I will have to look at my settings to remember exactly how to get there but your image is reversed and it's a setting that can be changed within the units settings once I have time to check I will report back here with those settings..

Ok so I haven't been able to get to my vehicle yet but here is what I recall... go to settings on your radio.. go to install set type in 666888 or whatever the password is for your radio once in there you will se several settings involving cameras its one of those settings go in there try them all 1 at a time after reset your radio so the setting applies.. or wait untill I get.in there myself to.tell you the exact setting..

You working that screen. I got one in my 2012 Ram. And I been real frustrated. I’ll tune it and it sound good then like the frequency changes and sounds like shit. Oh yeah and can’t get the heated and cooled seat to work

Yea it definitely will bekome a pain in the ass if you don't keep up on the firmware updates.. I install all of mine and don't have issues.. but I have witnessed strange things happening if the radio isn't updated.. contact your seller if you haven't already and see what firmware version you should be running..

You must have gotten it from Phoenix?? They are horrible to deal with, that's y I didn't get mine from them.. But having this radio it's vital you update it, because if not it becomes unstable and your experience will be horrible with it..

Yes that's exactly what they are... Just like these phones.. the guy on Facebooks name is sergey and I'm familiar with him.. some people have had great story's after downloading his firmware others not so much... I believe he charges 1oo dollars for his it gives you a ton of options as far as themes and other features, as far as stability not sure because I have never used it.. the process is downloading the file into a USB stick preferably 4 gb.. it will come in a compressed file unpack the files into the USB drive insert the USB stick into one of your radios USB port then reboot the radio.. it will then ask you if you want to update the firmware click yes and let it do it's thing.. you will see a huge improvement once this is accomplished.

You have to be more specific about your setup if you only have one goxlr are you running a dual pc streaming setup??.. the only time you should here buzzing is if your running something from a line out to a line in and if so you would put a isolator on the line in I put them everywhere im running something into a line in... sometimes you can even have buzzing in your headphones for me its with certain headphones not all.. so if I here buzzing I put a isolator on the end of them.. these days I use wireless headphones though routed through broadcast stream mix, no issues at all

hey king david so i use a duel pc setup with one goxlr but with ground loop line in buzz sometimes then it stops then later comes back on plus i have a lot of wires but my line out i don’t have a ground loop on line out just line in and i remember the helicon discord showing a diagram of having two ground loops for each line.

Thats strange I dont have a heated steering wheel myself but I know people that do and they haven't experienced that issue.. I would try to hard reset the radio first... if that dosent work make sure your settings in console for heated steering wheel are enabled.. and if that dosent work yo may have a radio with a bad canbus, and if so you will need to contact the company in which you made the purchase
