I dig your style brother I’m working with a two door 99 explorer sport but I think I could make this work! I appreciate this video, was gonna go with a diy roof rack mount but this may just be my solution 🤙

@@jayabrams108 pool noodles! Get some pool noodles and add it to the front pole. Cut some grooves in it to rest each rod in and it will prevent them from sliding around up there

A 4inch ringworm is probably my most used bait as of late. I like a pretty heavy weight. 3/16 is ideal for me but 1/8 is great too. I think this little package just mimics a baitfish or a small worm very well. Texas rig it with a 1/0 hook and your set

This is why zman products are my favorite in a way, due to the fact they like soaking in "contaminents", they are really good at soaking Procure scents.

I was so afraid this dude was gonna bust out in tears. Only the best for him I guess. I started fishing in 1965 with a cane pole and when I was 10 y.o. in 1968 I got a used Zebco 202 on a steel fishing rod. Some of the best times of my life. The kids that had the Pocket fisherman were the spoiled kids that got the newest of everything....kinda like this cry baby.

I've swapped to DOA paddletails, tougher than most and don't melt. I had 2 packs of Zman stuff(Gremlin and lizards) in the original packs in the top zipped pouch of a soft kayak tackle box melt.

That’s one thing I’ve had trouble with!! When they are smaller and swallow the damn thing, by hand is pretty tough to get in there 😂 but the needle nose always come in handy for that!!

That's pretty cool but I would put some pool noodle material with grooves cut in it for the front curtain rod for stability and quietness. Just a thought.

To be fair, ive had fish straight up miss my lure, or not hook up even with treble hooks. Ive caught fish on the big buzz plug. A few decent pike. I feel like pike are big enough to just take the whole lure and hook up easy. Im sure a bucket mouth would do it as well.

Try a start and stop retrieve. Reel for a few feet, stop, twitch your rod tip reel a little more and repeat the process. It's a great lure here in Florida using that retrieve.

If you put the jig head in the crawler to make weedless that how I do it slip the jig in side the hole in the crawler and poke the line tie out of the crawl and the hook will be skin hook nice weedless. Very easy to do with Z Man craw bug.

anyone else have a problem with these landing upside down half the time? also it seems like a more subsurface lure it sinks as you pop it but i do love the action underwater it absolutely does not sink at all when it’s on its back i guess it’s the hook but i would like to not waste half my casts with it landing wrong like a coin toss

Did you give the OEM bearings a fair shake? Meaning a deep cleaning and a drop of oil? I think you'd be pleasantly surprised by the results. Out of the box, many manufacturers either use a light grease or too much oil in the bearings. They come from a mass produced environment where speed in production is the motive and not the end performance. Comparing a brand new clean bearing with your own lubricant applied versus a factory pre-lubricated bearing isn't a fair comparison. Level the playing field; clean both, oil both, and repeat the test. Otherwise this is just a video meant to sell product with results that only appear valid to the uninitiated.
