These R VS are definitely built to last since I have been full timing on the road. That's all I have ever owned is Bigfoot brand rv,s. And also a couple of KZbin's that are full-time as well. That have class c bigfoot inspired me to definitely jump on the banwagon👍🏻👍🏻

Don’t know if you’re still monitoring this channel, but I’m dying to know the specs on those wheels. Finding dully wheels for the E450 is almost impossible.

Still check in occasionally on the channel for comments. These are the wheels I purchased. They have been great, just completed a 5800 mile trip this month. www.summitracing.com/parts/VSW-181Z7680MBF?seid=srese1&gclid=Cj0KCQjw0vWnBhC6ARIsAJpJM6f2azlQV-FNAA7by2ohCp2SzMQUG1yGEjHGrNRgO0G8Z3ioMVwS39caAnT2EALw_wcB

Quite and achievement and challenge. We have a 35 foot Bigfoot 40MH that needs some help due to an explosive tire loss that destroyed the power and water service bay in the rear. Do you have any suggestions on where we can find information/diagrams that will assist us in the rebuilding of this location.

So sorry to hear about the issues. I really had no luck in finding any information from Bigfoot for my project. I pretty much just had to rely on KZbin and web searches to try and find what I needed. I wish you the best of luck in the re-build.

Thanks for the video. A few questions. Do you know what year your trek is? Also do you remember the cassette you purchased and the spacers you needed? I want to convert my navigator 3.0 with a center drive. The rear drive units do not work with manual v-brakes. Do you think it has enough power or if you would do it again would you buy the 750w. Thanks for any help.

The Walmart cutting board faceplate was genius! Lovely work, you are so handy. Everyone needs a husband like you! Mine was so useless, I left him and kept the dog. I do all my own DIY and have to redo my shower like yours. I liked the hacks you improvised, the wood frame behind the screws. It's appalling how poorly they build RVs - shortcuts everywhere. Mine is just as bad. I'm going to remove the entire shower surround, fit in a proper wood box to hold this shower control in, and cut out an access hatch on reverse side. Why not? Everything should be modular and accessible. Did you have to lube any controls? Some Amazon reviewers said that the cold water access did not work after some time, something about lubrication and winter weather. Thanks again, very useful video and very educational. You are a good teacher. Enjoy Arizona! I lived in Tucson many years. There is an annual Gem Show in Tucson around Jan-Feb that is huge and you will both love it. Lots of inexpensive stone necklaces, carved items, and mineral displays. It should be seen.

First, amazing job. Did you take down any upper cabinets? I am struggling to remove one in my 2005 30MH29SL. I took out all the screws visible in the front lip, but the upper cabinet is still strongly in place.

Man so many of the cons I see with super c are really negligible. Most of them can be easily fixed or worked around. I think they're pretty much all around better than class a RVs

Additional information. After the dredge was donated to the Forest Service, it sat for thirty years. Then in 1977 an employee of the U.S. Forest Service, (Bart Nordling) tracked down former emoloyees. No small feat considering most workers in mining move often. Bart Nordling then held reunions in 1977 and 1979. Most of the former workers were of retirement age, yet they and their families formed the Yankee Fork Gold Dredge Association in early 1980. That summer began the clean up and restoration of the dredge and continued each summer until ready for tours, I think that was in 1984. It is due to the hard work and commitment of the former employees, their families and friends that this dredge is now open to the public, around 9,000 toured the dredge this season.

Couple things since this is a 7 year old video. They now make a 4 inch one for RV's. It has a hose connection on the bottom. Also perhaps putty tape would have been less messy than silicone. The trim rings can be sanded down to make the brass fittings protrude further in the back if need be. Also you could hit that chopping block with a torch for a couple seconds to clean up the cut edges. Great video though

BEAUTIFUL!!!! I'm into the smaller sized Class C's myself. I'm currently eyeing the Forest River Forester 2291s or they're more modern Forester 2151sle (Same floorplan, just newer). A lot of RV's of this size use this particular floorplan with the bed & bathroom in the rear, kitchen along the entrance side, and a U dinette, but I REALLY like yours because they even squeezed in a couch! A lot of RV's are cheaping out of quality too, see how yours has the dual curtain for darkening, elaborate curtains & Shades, soft fabric seating, even the super comfy drivers chair! Another thing I'm EXTREMELY picky about even though it's not a big deal is having windows on the overhead bunk! Nothing I hate more than one that has no windows or the stupid entertainment center with cabinets where a bed should obviously be!

I rented a Jeep in Alaska with one of these this year. Fantastic. It does away with most of what I dislike about camping in my Jeep: setting up and breaking down camp. Just close it and go. Under a minute.

Wow! You did a ton of work and it looks great! Especially like all the solar, the dining area, the kitchen (with washer/dryer) and the overall refreshed look. How many miles were on the 24SL when you bought it? Roughly what did it cost for the remodel? Regarding the suspension. Like the new wheels and tires. Now, for a better ride and more ground clearance there's a shop in SoCal, WeldTec, that does suspension lifts called Baja Grocery Getter. Check em out. I have no affiliation but just think such an upgrade will really help.
