I finally got to watch this, great stuff dudes. Hillers clams this all down so fluidly it’s amazing. Baffled by the part where Taylor thinks RedBull doesn’t pay more than RAD though. RedBull is one of the most recognizable brands on earth, and RAD is a very small and relatively new company by comparison. I’d think a 150k athlete sponsorship would only contribute to the tanking of that company so early on, but that’s just my simple opinion being a small company owner. Everyone keep up the good work!

Being a start-up succés is not equal to having a "well oiled machine". I worked for the brewery Mikkeller in periods for 15 years and we where so high on our selfs, we changed the world of beer and made up crazy stuff, never seen before. And then everything imploded and all the shit surfaced; all the money waste, the inside dealing, the harrasments, it was a shit show, everyone left. We where not a super company; we had our arms up our own asses all the way and burned so many bridges. The comapny is a part of Carlsberg now and the energy is gone, so is the notion of us being special. I see the same pattern in the history of CF and I am so glad the sport is seperating from the cult and the company.

Re the first cousin marriage - I recently watched a documentary on this. Can link if you're interested. But yes in certain Pakistani communities it is expected to marry in the community. Problem with the commercial is that (let’s be honest) some affiliates stink. People will show and last a month. Need more affiliate standards.

Problem is the average crossfitter is getting older in age. My affiliate rarely gets a young person walking in. It’s mostly just ppl 35-40 lookin for some friends, which is cool. Not getting any younger tho.

A Games commercial would have to highlight the dates, and how to watch, with a QRF code. Realistically, though, growing the affiliates is the best way to grow the Games.

Hearing you all give ideas to grow CrossFit gives me hope. All of us crossfitters know how it has benefitted us and how it can benefit the world.

If you’ve ever been to a CrossFit competition, you probably noticed all the spectators are CrossFitters. No one who doesn’t do CrossFit will watch people exercise for entertainment. The sport isn’t going to magically grow without a growing audience. If affiliates don’t grow, the sport of CrossFit doesn’t grow. Simple.
