Great shot of the ducks at the start looking over the river. The view from the Funicular was indeed wonderful to see, fantastic that you had such a clear day to film it. The color of the city from above looks a bit bland, but at the same time it has a wonderful classic feel to it. Looking at the steps on the way down, it looks like you made the right choice to take the Funicular up, lol. That was an enjoyable trip around the city, Verona isn't a place you normally see on KZbin as a travel video.

We stayed in Verona for 9 days and used it a base to do day trips by train to surrounding cities, Venice, Milan, Bologna. But honestly we liked Verona the best, it's a beautiful mid-sized city with lots of things to do and see. And yes, we were glad we took the funicular going up, lots of folks huffing and puffing as we passed them on our way down! As for the weather we had a lot of days like this one, overcast, sometimes a little rain. More sunshine would have been nice but what can you do?

I'm being blinded by the amount of white people 😂😂 I have to admit, I love the concept of a Halloween party in the street like this. The kids are safe, everyone is having fun, and it actually looks like most people are making an effort to take part. What is extra cool is that a lot of the families are all dressing up with the same theme, I especially liked the two hunters and the baby deer, lol :) I've never been to the New York parade but apparently they have an awesome 'Thriller' street dance. That was a lot of fun, I enjoyed watching that party. It's nice to see so many people having fun, makes a change from the daily hate in the news.

Yeah, it's pretty white alright 😄 I didn't really think about it until you said that. Outside of Seattle and its immediate suburbs it gets increasingly that way the more rural the community is. Enumclaw is about 35 miles from Seattle. It's definitely a whole different vibe from the big city, and yes, like you said it's refreshing to see so many people all having a good time and nothing else ruining it.

A 100 bucks for a Gondola ride, I feel like a miser, lol. Mind you, it's a way better deal than that one you saw in Vegas ;) To be honest I'm not even sure if I have watched a video from Venice before, certainly not sing I was very young anyway. There's no denying that the trip down the canal is amazingly beautiful. As for the Vaporetto being a less romantic trip, I'm not so sure about that, it is what you make it, isn't it? Yikes, a thousand year old bridge, you don't get many of them around, do you? I wonder how much of it is still original. Obviously life has to go on, but that huge crane over the canal looks so out of place, lol. A lovely picturesque trip you have shared with us today.
@sunnyskytravel4571
@sunnyskytravel4571 28 күн бұрын
Yeah, we were on the fence about taking the gondola ride and finally opted out, and yes, the price definitely was a major factor. We actually liked the vaporetto a lot. The main difference is the gondolas go down the narrow "side streets" which is the romantic aspect I guess. For me a day trip was plenty of Venice. Absolutely overrun with hordes of people to the point of almost not being enjoyable. Granted, we made the mistake of going on a Sunday, and in nice weather so it was probably even a bit more crowded than normal. Thanks for the kind words and support!

Have you been to Europe? In France? This is near the Czech Republic. You have nice shots. I'm also happy for these shots on camera, because I've never been to France. It's probably a different view of the city for you too, isn't it? A different world in Europe than in the USA...

Have to admit that it isn't one of my favorite things to look at, however, it really does look spectacular at night. I once watched a Korean group visit at night for a picnic, and even to this day, if there is any tension in the group, they just say "Think back to The Eiffel Tower" and happy memories return to them. Even as far back as when I was a kid, like early 1970s, it was always known as a romantic place where marriage proposals would take place, and thinking back, I couldn't put anything on a par with it, Paris and marriage proposals seem to go together. Maybe Venice as a distant second now that I think of it. I'm speaking as a European here of course.

We were pretty disappointed we didn't get to go up to the top. Turns out you have to book a place several months ahead of time, I tried about a month before our trip and all the days we were there were sold out. But it's still pretty cool just being there. Yes, we also thought the nighttime views were the best and as you say, not too surprising to see a marriage proposal right next to us. Couldn't have planned that if we tried!

There is no real comparison between Paris and Seattle. Seattle is about 150 years old, Paris has been around for centuries longer and has all the history, architecture, art, etc. of the sort you simply can't find in the U.S. We were there about a month ago, only 4 days which is not nearly enough time to see much of what it has to offer. Thanks for the comment and always watching!

Ofcorse they dont make things wasy anymore, like housing! Prices are so high for a rental . How on earth can most people afford a 1,400.00 one bedroom rent! I certianley can not! Im very very very lucky!!!! I dont live in a mansion and honestly l never imagined that l would live where l do, but my rent is very very reasonable! Things need to change! We need to stop giving other states, etc. all our money , we need to take care of our own people!!!❤❤❤

There are also homeless people in the Czech Republic, but they walk well. Or if they are real like in your country on the street, they sleep in the bushes and on the outskirts of cities under a bridge or abandoned houses, tents. But above all, they are on the outskirts of the city. They are not visible inside the city. That used to be in the 90s. Today they are driven by the police to the outskirts of cities and rivers, where they are not seen. Homelessness has various causes. Loss of family, job or feelings. Also illness and loss of health. Or a bad bunch of people who drag a person into homelessness, creating debts and non-payment, irresponsibility. In any case, it is a failure of the individual. No will to face the problem directly. No effort to maintain living comfort. On the one hand, I feel sorry for these people, and on the other hand, they are to blame for their condition. I also didn't have anything 25 years ago and went to Pilsen city to work from the village, I started working hard and today I have everything, my home, car, anything, apartment equipment, modern, I'm debt-free. My wife ran away with her lover and children 400km away, my parents died a long time ago and so did my siblings, I am alone and disabled, but I never gave up. If there was a problem, I solved it immediately and decisively, I am purposeful and myself and those around me. (born Capricorn)
