Amazing scenery! Fantastic to see the wildlife, looks like the early bird gets the good stuff.

Just started the video and I have no idea what a Marmot is, I look forward to finding this out :) I spot a few more early birds out on the trail, I'm guessing none of you took a dip in the lake? ;) Oh okay, so a Marmot has similar traits to a Meerkat, but they aren't in the same family, interesting! I notice there are plenty of signs which could be a huge help if you ever feel yourself straying of course. 9:18 looks a rather tricky stretch to navigate, but it does have a built in slide, lol. Lovely view of the White River Canyon!! Hopefully that 14 minutes of view time pushes the retention rate up a little, a lovely walk up a very scenic mountain. Excellent stuff.

Marmots are probably more closely related to something like a groundhog, big furry rodents basically. If you're ever hiking around these mountains and hear a loud, shrill whistle, that's a marmot. And no, if you got caught taking a dip in that lake you'd be massively fined as that's the drinking water supply for the whole visitor center - not to mention freezing your balls off! Thanks for the full watch, it actually did bump up the retention rate.
