@@heathermerrill8413 I really love Matt, for some reason i think he is a romantic and gentle man. but in the rock industry this is not welcome, so he has to wear a mask all the time. i really love the songs My Darkest Days. they simply could not have been written and sung by someone who has never been in that situation. incredibly accurate descriptions of mental health problems, love and relationship problems. i can relate to every song they play. i have been listening to them since i was 15, i accidentally saw their music on my boyfriend's playlist back then. ever since then i listen to them whenever i feel bad. sometimes their music calms me down much more than my friends. I was very happy to see your comment almost right after I wrote it. the comments under My Darkest Days videos are empty right now. i'm very happy that the band is still remembered. (sorry, i don't know English well and i'm using a translator now)

My grandparents went to a few of MDD's concerts. My grandma has fond memories of being let onto the tour bus and doing Jager shots with the band. They even tried to bring them Buffalo sticks every time they went to one of their concerts. If I remember right the band once recognized them and called then "The Buffalo People". I miss hearing these guys but life goes on. I just slightly hope remnants of "the buffalo people" stuck in the bands heads, cause they created some awesome memories for my grandparents from that era.

Really wished My Darkest Days was still rocking and rolling. 2 albums released and both of them were fantabulous on their own right, that I still listen, and rock and roll to everyday. From the music, bass, voice everything about MDD was perfection and I haven't found another rock band fulfilling this except for Hinder (back during Austin Winkler's era).

I'm a contralto with a five octave range, are you looking for any band members? Sounds like a girl version of Darkest Days and that sounds rock n roll as anything, is that what you're saying? If so, I'd totally collab. Also I read music and play piano (I'm a chick, if me saying I'm a contralto didn't make that totally clear 😂)
