Replacing it myself took longer than expected for couple of reasons Firstly I had a bad saw, so I had to use some else’s better hacksaw but it still took a long time. Second problem arose when I got the wheels and tried to install them inside the wheel frame They would get stuck on something and not be able to spin freely. I had to just file down a little thing sticking out, and also sides Third problem arose when I realized the wheel holder thingy, was bent somehow from the stress. So all in all it took me well 2 hours. Or maybe a bit less, but I think it was worth it.

The washers go on the inside (if necessary)! They are for padding the wheel thickness to match the caster clearance. You don't need washers between the screws heads and the caster fork. If the fork has 21 mm clearance, but the wheel is 18 mm wide, and you tighten the axle, you're bending the fork, which is bad. The correct washers let you tighten the axle nut firmly without bending the fork. These kinds inline-skate-type wheels have the beautiful attribute that they tighten firmly into the fork: they do not require free play, unlike the riveted garbage they are replacing. You want to get the axle tight, without undue stress on the fork.

I just did exactly this. I got four wheels of Amazon for $15 CAD. Replaced all four on a suitcase (two had broken tires). Do not even think about buying replacement wheel caster assemblies, if the casters are not damaged!!! Tires only.

Mine does not work as well as yours. After about 100 feet of edging, it stopped working entirely. I took it inside and noticed that a series of long, thin strings of grass had wrapped around the shaft and gummed up the rotation. After prying it out with a knife, the shaft is clean again and it seems to turn. I hope this was a temporary problem.

Any issues replacing the blade? Several people in the Home Depot comments seem to have issues. They say the locking nut is to tight. Maybe they don't know to put something in the locking hole first before trying to get the nut off? Trying to decide if I should get this one or the Ryobi one., but I want the Dewalt one so it can matchy matchy with me Dewalt 60v. Any information would be appreciated, great video.

I had a samsonite luggage I have had more than a decade, still in very good condition but the wheels have crapped out twice already. Same thing with samsonite backpack i bought more recently, the rubber on the zipper handle disintegrated which has nothing to do with wear because the bag was unused. Also had a antler i bought in 2016, used only once and now the wheels have disintegrated. I an wondering what exact material they are using for the rubber. This is really shady behaviour from the manufacturers. I have an old delsey, heavy as shit and rolled all over the world but the wheels are completely intact. Its definitely in the type of rubber they are using, and not wear and tear.

For the last 18 months I've not let the lawn crew edge or use a weed eater in my back yard. kzbin.infoUgkx_rBCFuDW1zD6blTGhLkvAkxU657uR_lG I didn't like the fact that they just kept cutting the edge of the lawn further and further from the rock lining the flower beds and leaving bare ground. And the grass was trimmed or scalped several feet around trees, etc. It was a constant battle with them so I told them to just mow and no trimming. I have Zoysia grass so it grows pretty slow. Obviously after a while it could use some trimming. I'm in my 80's so I can't do much of it myself.Finally I decided that if I could find a lightweight battery powered trimmer I might be able to do some light trimming. I decided to buy the LST201 20V trimmer. And it works great for my needs. I have back yard with about 150' of flower beds and several trees to be trimmed. I can lightly trim the whole yard with a single charge! The grass I trimmed was only a few inches high but the trimmer was more powerful than I expected.

Edger 220 ($620-820) for the 10$ in fuel a year x15, 150+189=$339. Cobalt and Lithium=slave labor and trashed environment. I'll get a German or American gasser and save a child in Africa and China.
