Strange you say hips forward while you push the hips back ? 🤔 I see an anterior pelvic tilt while the good position is neutral or forward .

I'm not a huge fan of the product, but his advice is dead on.....a slight lean from your ankles, short stride, quick leg turnover...if your foot strikes 90 times a minute, there's no way you're ever going to overstride and heel strike

This was really helpful. I'm in my early 20s and just got my first legitimate pair of running shoes. I thought the tongue slipping and the shoes being a bit loose were normal. Thank you so much for the tutorial!!

I've been running for about 5 years. After coming back from my first stress fracture, I've been scouring the internet for advice on how to improve my form and whatnot (I was a heel striker). I tried switching to the midfoot, but hitting the ground was hard and very loud. After taking your advice about the hip position, my steps were instantly quieter (even when running in socks on the carpet!). The motion before felt very awkward, but this feels much better. Thank you so much for your advice!

TONGUE SLIDING/SLIPPAGE 1. Criss Cross to just below the Tongue Centering Loop. 1aBypassing the TC Loop. 2. Feed lace from the left side thru the loop. (The Loop Back lacing begins NOW, AFTER the TC Loop). 2aLoop Back & feed thru the next higher eyelet. 3. Feed lace from the right side in-between the TC Loop & LB lace. 3aLoop Back & feed thru the next higher eyelet. 4. Continue Criss Cross to the top of the shoe.

Slow jogging has its limits in improvement. Once you’ve built your base phase you need faster training in intervals at race pace at your best 10,000m pace, 5000m pace, 1500m pace & 800m pace. Multipace interval training as adopted by Sebastian Coe greatest 800m & 1500m of all time, Said Aouita the 5000m Olympic champion of 84, only man to break 1:44 for 800m, 3:30 for 1500, 13 mins for 5000m and 28 mins for 10k. Said Aouita was a big multi pace interval low mileage quality runner. The greatest miler 1500m man EL G from Morocco 🇲🇦 was a multiple pace interval trained. LASTLY the best 2 distance runners Kipchoge and Bekele came from a fast 1500m and 5,000m background with again multiple pace intervals. Slow jogging is a base for novice athletes only. Slow jogging makes slow runners.

I want legs like that. 😩 That aside good, informative video in terms of the forefoot running. People with bad ankles will find that paying attention to landing is so important. Slow jogging works for me. And yes it emphasizeso forefoot landing. But I always thought it was logical that forefoot landing was better for your feet and back.
