Mahalo and aloha from Kauai! We have a lot of humidity here and my stove needs the ribbon cleaned every year or so. I heard some people got rid of their stove and did not realize it was an easy fix

Is that a 9" machine like the older MBF? Hard to find 9" blades these days. Will a 10" fit blade under that guard? Not possible on the MBF with the round guard. Jus' wondering.

Instead of screws in the sacrificial table, would dowl rods work? That way if you ever do accidently run across an angle that intersects with one you wouldn't ruin your blade.

Sadly, my software business of over 15 years needed a lot more attention and was dealt a death blow after covid hit in 2020. KZbin was always fun and more of a hobby, but I haven't been able to focus on any hobbies for the last few years. Once we're able to get back on our feet with a solid financial footing, I'll likely be jumping back in the shop and making more videos.

@@TommyTompkins thanks for taking the time to respond. I’m in software myself and you inspired me to up my home shop standards. Hope you can get your feet on the ground again and looking forward to seeing more content in the future.

Very nice design! Any details on the exhaust fan you used? I watched the other video but you didn't mention anything about CFM, motor HP, etc.
@TommyTompkinsАй бұрын
Hey thanks! Unfortunately, I don't know the exact CFM or motor details. If I remember correctly, I think the motor is a 0.75 HP but not exactly sure. I picked up the entire blower unit with motor on Craigslist.

I’m 65 and have enjoyed using my 1963 DeWalt radial arm saw for years. RAS are not dangerous if you know what you are doing and have respect for safety. Jealous of your vintage router, but I am blessed to have a full shop of “antique tools” because when I was young and single I could not afford to go to Sears and buy new Craftsman tools like my friends. My 1948 Delta bandsaw and 40’s vintage Craftsman 6” jointer and shaper are built like a tank and still going strong. My prized passion in my 1914 Victor Koontz pattern makers vice. Too bad America does not build things to last like they use to🇺🇸. Loved the video! You definitely have a new follower!

So, is the power pack only necessary if you are using 110v in a household/furniture application? Would it not be needed in a vehicular or RV 12v application? Thank you.

That's correct. You can power it on any 12v power source.

I want to thank You so so much! I had an error code in my keypad of a different stove and had placed an order for the piece in ebay and it was due to be delivered today and it was delayed. So God said go look on youtube and find a video on how to manually ignite the stove like back in the day. Your video popped up and I read the comments and I said a prayer over the video bc I really didnt have the money for the part. It was $250, and that was the cheapest seller. They package was delayed and I wad going to go all weekend without a stove and I asked my son humor me and help me get the panel off. It looked as though of the pins was cruddy, I had used the eraser but also a small pin to scratch lightly each pin. We put it back together ans turned the breaker back on and its meatloaf tonight instead if tacos! Thank you so much. Now I can get a refund from the seller when it comes and use that money to pay my car payment! Thank you!!! Praise Jesus for leading me to find you! ❤❤❤❤😊

The author does like to from scratch, kzbin.infoUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO shaping and trimming wood from large blocks into fine finished products. As another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us don’t have the room or budget for. But, knowing how to do these things, even if we won’t be able to practise the full stack project, is still great.

I don't understand how the speed controler would be wired in to just one actuator without being able to handle reversed polarity or having multiple switches.

So that's how they did it. I once visited a fun restaurant in Portland that had a table top move up and down slowly enough to not be noticed, that is, until your food and drinks were in a ridiculously high or low position. They also had an ultra-slow rotating top that was unnoticeable (until it wasn't anymore.) A good laugh.😂 Super clear video 👍
