this is way too upbeat sounding to mimic the emotion of the original piece. Still well played, though

Hi Connor, this is an amazing arrangement. Any chance I could get a copy from the arrangement? As KZbin deletes comments which contain an email address, I wanted to asked if I could reach out to you on another platform for the arrangement. Best regards, Jakob

Haha Beethoven sounds sometimes like power metal. Actually some bands like Rhapsody took a lot of inspiration from classical music. Big thanks for the film, best wishes Man!

Shostakovich is as universal as Bach but for the exactly opposite reason: Bach sought to show Heaven to humanity, Shostakovich sought to show Humanity to Humanity

I've been long convinced that this piece inspired Nobuo Uematsu's One Winged Angel. After hearing this incredible arrangement, I'm doubling down on that notion.

If this was a prog rock release it had been a sensation. It is funny to think of that Shosta probably did not hear any rock and roll or elesctric guitar at all during his time. But his music seems meant to electric guitar

This is your reminder that the same guy who wrote this wrote Rite of Spring, a ballet so controversial it caused brawls in the crowd and a full-scale riot when it debuted in Paris. Bro created the original mosh pit.

This piece was one of the first excerpts I had to play to audition for Hawaii’s youth symphony’s top ensemble for the most advanced youth. I just barely made it. I often find myself going back to pieces I haven’t played in a long time and I’m glad to found your page. Gives my past years in music interest a refreshing new experience

DUUUUUUDE. I used to play violin/viola classically from childhood days. since middle school ‘08 I started to venture to every other genre and honestly can listen to almost anything these days . Metal, rock even country and so many more. I’ve always loved the type of energy this type of symphonic work puts out. Hearing you SHRED this on guitar makes me truly grateful I expanded my horizons and allowed myself to give other genres a shot. 10 year old naive me would’ve thought this was an abomination. Now approaching my 30s I absolutely dig this!!! You’re extremely talented. I know it’s almost a decade later since you’ve posted this, but I hope you’re still killin it bro
