I can't say I'm surprised since you have made it pretty clear that this wasn't bringing you joy for awhile now. That being said I'm sad to see it go. These videos have been a consistent highlight of my week since the Doomguy build randomly poped up in my recommendations. At least we get one last build for one of the best bosses in video game history. Best of luck, it's been a pleasure.

Nice and comedic end to this years long series. Pretty entertaining to watch these builds created with inspiration from characters in your favorite games or movies. If there were to be a new series based by similar formula, then it would probably be tutorials for boss builds for DMs. Specifically, inspiration from direct or sideline antagonists of different genres. If you were to continue the player character builds later on then maybe a suggestion of taking inspiration from several frames from Warframe.

as a bit of advice for anyone wanting to play d and d, NEVER and I mean NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER EEEVVVEEEEERRRRR fall into the TRAP that is True Strike! "Oh It GiVeS aDvAnTaGe On YoUr NeXt TuRn!" Yes, your NEXT turn, meaning you WASTE your entire turn when you could've rolled a crit, just to POSSIBLY STILL MISS on your next turn. It is the worst spell in the game and I will NEVER take it no matter what build you put it on, I will ALWAYS find something better. "Precision attack" from the battle master subclass is 10x better than this as it adds to the attack roll AND damage and doesn't waste an ENTIRE TURN

That's a shame. I've enjoyed alot of your video's. Some I wasn't sure if they would work but a few I've used and had alot of fun with my friends. Thank you for all you've done.

Love this video and lara. I personally wouldve gone for thief rogue over scout as second story work is an amazing feature for lara who is constantly climbing and jumping (and falling)

Watching old favourites and ones I've missed now that Tulok isn't making these kinds of vids anymore. This is a great build for dungeon delving and exploring.

I think to make it easier I would build him as warlock reskining that eb is his cards and hexblade as his staff and martial combat but anyway this build looks quite nice

Everyone is pretty down in the comments, but i'm happy to hear you'll be trying out something new that you are interested in. Building character was fantastic and it helped me learn a LOT about D&D. I credit you along side critical role with giving me enough understanding of the game to GM, but I don't know how many hundreds of videos are in the series, but there came a point where I wasn't watching for what could be conveyed in a stat sheet. I was watching because of your fantastic delivery and sense of humor, and as your interest waned I could tell it was harder to find the bits and the jokes, so I didn't mind it becoming less and less frequent. Hopefully your MTG, or whatever other content catches your interest comes as naturally as those early building character videos.

What you are going through is a natural progression in your time here at KZbin. You started off making content to reach a particular audience, and you did just that. You have spent much time and effort keeping the audience entertained, and lost the spark you had before while making these same videos and worry what the audience might think. And while you will lose some of them, what you have made in the meantime is a community. A group of people who like you for you, because your videos ended up giving them more than what you ever originally put into it. Your community cares not about the videos you make. They care about YOU. WE care about YOU. I have seem a lot of creators go through this same phase. If you take care of your community, they will take care of you. And one of the best ways to take care of the community is for YOU to take care of YOURSELF. From now on, make the videos that YOU want to make. Because you have created a community that loves you and what you do, and we will support you because we love you.

haven't played dnd in a hot second for myriad reasons but have loved your videos regardless. would listen to them a lot when i was a janitor and they helped get me through the shift :)

I've known you mostly on youtube and twitter, both platforms that have really gone downhill generally. I'm really glad you're able to move onto making content you actually enjoy now. Rest assured that even if you no longer upload anything I'm interested in I will stay on the Patreon (I don't know how to unsubscribe) I hope after some time apart from this series you can begin to enjoy playing D&D as a hobby again.
