Now I cant lock it

No mention of the need to correctly toque the hub nuts and lock them in place afterwards…..🤔🤔

Could you have made it any Lees detailed and shorter. Why didn't you click your fingers and do a before and after in 2 seconds??? Useless for anyone who isn't fairly well capable mechanically. I do these regularly and the bit you decided to brush over...ie...taking off the shoes and springs...is the bit that fails most people. Thanks for nothing

Another bulletproof solution is to rip the locking mechanism out completely and glue a few magnets to keep the door shut
@grubasyk11 ай бұрын
I had to rip it off in the end.. no need for magnets thou, the hinge is quite springy already! just have to use a bank card to open it :)

Not the best job imho! I didn’t see any grease going in the adjuster or the stub axle at all and the backplate and hub clean was a bit half hearted!

Great video. I'm struggling to find any brake shoes online. I'm looking for the same as the video. I went into an I For Williams factory and they told me they don't make them anymore... Surely there are still being sold? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks
@grubasyk2 жыл бұрын
did you try one in Naas? that where I got them while ago
@medicontrol692 жыл бұрын
They are 200x50 knott brake shoes which are still made and widely available off eBay and other sources

Wow you did an amazing job! i’m starting a project similar to yours. I wa wondering, for your floors, did you do a limecrete floor? You underfloor heating is it powered by wooden stove with back boiler? What did you insulated your corrugated roof with? Have you any issue with condensation? I have three roofs and redid one with non drip corrugated - I’m yet to insulate
@grubasyk2 жыл бұрын
yes, limecrete floor, UFH powered by geothermal heat pump, roof insulated with 100mm PIR plus 50mm insulated plasterboard, no vapor barrier, no condensation whatsoever. check the blog in video description for more details

Maybe Audi wants us to bring the key out for safety reasons and press the unlock once again just to ensure you want your fuel tank unlocked? Makes sense if it's gonna work each time.

Brilliant video. Not only because it shows you what to do, but more importantly, it was all compacted into a 3.18 video. unlike the majority of ignorant KZbinrs who feel they need to do a full Hollywood production with endless irrelevant talk. Thank you

Great job ,too many people would have knocked things down and put a modern building in its place which would be criminal but you have treated the building with love and respect and kept a piece of history .
