Yes, relaxing. Like watching grass growing but it is watching a barge being emptied of sand, rock or dirt that I have seen. Watching to the last rock or hand full of sand.

Nothing like being in the death zone for a few bucks a day.

It appears like clay instead of sand. Best quality sand is available in hilly rivers. This sand seems to be from plains.

so why not just tie each board to the next board with a single cable leaving 3 meters between them? the boards could then be pulled out automatically you'd need a large drum to wind them onto though.
