Nice video. I don’t know why but I just can’t get excited about the process. As I’ve said before it just seems like too much work to retrace and vectorize an already drawn sketch and the process is really boring. There’s got to be a better way.

I really would’ve appreciated, being new to AI, how you deleted the pencil lines dissecting the fingers, in lieu of speeding through that process.

Is there a way to cut out shapes from an existing shape or filled object? Im working on a decal and used the pen too to outline and fill the image, but there are a few placed i'd like to make transparent to give it a little detail. It will be a single color vinyl decal.
