Windows 10 broke my sound again with the "communications detected", turned that off. But how do I get the old audio mixer back so I can restore the audio volume? I tried sndvol.exe but that shows all audio volume mixers at full.

On my phone I do have it set to Automatic already. When I plugged in my phone to USB and went to This PC then Apple IPhone some photos are still in .HEIC format. When I brought them in and converted them using the first method, some of the metadata was lost :( Any suggestions?

Just recently installed Windows 8 1 Pro on Thinkpad T60 and Thinkpad 520i i3-2310m processor. Smooth, fast, responsive and usable on both machines. Better than Windows 10 and/or Windows 7 on Thinkpad T60. So far Im happy with W8.1.

DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE I MADE... AND JUST TAKE MY ADVICE - STEP1 - First of all make sure it's not getting charged. Remove the charging cable in cas it's charging. And turn this mf off by pressing the finger sensor button for 5 to7 seconds. STEP 2- If water is spilled on your keyboard, simply put tissue papers on it. Don't use a cotton cloth or something to wipe it like you are wiping a tv screen because that will just force the water go in the fine holes and eventually to the core delicate machinery. (I made this mistake 🙃 so you better avoid it) So, put the tissues on the keyboard 🎹 and let them soak the water and throw them away. Use new tissue papers and rpwat the process. You can try the rice 🍚 trick as well at this point. STEP 3- After you make sure most of the visible water is gone for good from the keyboard of your super valuable Mac... Put it in a tent position and let it get dry. STEP4- Pray dawg 😈. There is jothing more you can do at this point. Beat of luck buddy. 🤞🏻🐱

Damn, I was trying my special move with an earthen pot which was filled with a little water... And spilled some of it on my Macbook M1! 🙃 The good news is the special move worked! 🔥🔥🔥 And the bad news is... Well I am still waiting to find that. 🙃 But one thing is clear - when I cleaned the water with a cotton cloth some of it might have enterd in the system. Cuz when I turned it on thinking, "Nah, nothing would happen. Chill Naman!"... I saw my left side screen was transformed into a car window with tinted glasses. Does NOT work on my Samsung ZFOLD 3, nor on my Galaxy TabS6! IT DOES work on the PC, however it does NOT go to my preferred Firefox browser, instead it always goes to freaking MS Edge browser, yes I have Firefox set as my default browser on the PC. It is a setting somewhere in FB, hidden from the user!
