no need to press R2 then? Because this game sucks when u have to press r2 to use the directional pad to use the drinks. It force you to stop running to use it. crap.

@@Ronnytrials Correct. The HUD stays on. I much prefer to have it this way so I always know what's up and what to press or select including my current status instead of guessing or having to press a button ot trigger to bring it up momentarily. When I saw it as an option I immediately turned it on.

Both are excellent. I enjoyed ER just a little bit more but don't forget that From Software developed a lot of games. Games Science first child is special. Can't wait for the sequel.

I've played this game with the same button option as for a Souls game and it works damn well. Playing on PS5 though.

I changed the settings in game to b on the second choice. So it’s left trigger. Way more natural. The sprint thing is on point… but I like the light and heavy attack on the r triggers And I have a scuf envision pro that can go from regular travel with haptics to a mouse click feel. It’s insane good. Like 5x better than the last p4s scuf I had… way snappier and so programmable. Get one. You’ll love it

LOL. No blocking, no good way to parry. Even dodge sometimes doesn’t work due to attack animation. You have a long way to go before judging Elden Ring bro.

a good game doesn't have to have blocking and parry systems. Tho still, i won't compare these 2 cus i love both of them and they have different mechanics. and one game doesn't have to completely play like another.

hard to compare gameplay because Black Myth WuKong is not trying to be Elden Ring, Wukong is a much easier game, and probably similar to God of War. You can compare the character design tho since both are fantasy setting. FYI, Black Myth Wukong uses real martial artists for motion capturing all the moves.

@@andrei.242I still have yet to play it, saw a lot of gameplay, and reviews, heard it’s just a boss rush, also heard it’s not quite a souls like game. I played Elden ring and can’t even pass the first boss without spending 2 hours, so I’m kinda holding off on Wukong, I do like the aesthetics of both games tho.

This still works when I'm playing the game. Note . you are on PC and messed up the process. It is likely you consume and lose the Boss soul, immediately alt + f4 the game to avoid the game auto save. Then, just simply go back to the game, and hopefully, the boss soul is still in the inventory. Have fun, Tarni- Ashen One's

It's the same deal as the celebrant's weapons, they really just aren't that good as a stand alone buff, but if you're trying to farm for a rare item or you're just grinding enemies then it's not like getting extra runes on hit is going to make things worse

I feel like the only way this is worth doing was if the buff literally lasted forever, then you could walk away from the game or something. This would be something a hollow or a wandering noble might resort to, like the most deprived and desperate creatures in existence.
