the real reason why do people hate Dark Souls 2

DS2 is my favourite game in the series and my favourite game in general with nearly 20k hours spanning both the orginal (with still 4 max timer accounts i left on there when i went back for memories) and SotFS... i will never stop liking this game as it did a ton right.

@@Xpwnxage at near 20k hours, that's over 5% of my life dedicated to one game, if not more. I'm very much commited to this game and i can understand the DS1 to DS2 hate in the past, but people giving DS2 crap after DS3, BB AND ER even though objectively DS2 has a better review score than most games still to this day and many go back and play it calling it a good game. Overall the arguement can come down to any of the game's in the series, i heavily dislike DS3, but i've played through it again recently and enjoyed it, though it'll never be the favourite

Finaly a someone said it ds2 is my first souls game so i never played it like the others and got a fresh experiance never had a problem with the adp i didnt wven level it up and beat the whole game with it

DS2 was also my first, learned quickly about it's mechanics and then shortly after beating it, moved onto DS1 (ds3 was never out yet) and beat it with more ease than i assumed (still was tougher due to just DS1 being insane still without min maxing) DS3 is my least favourite out of the 3, it's shift to be like BloodBorne (another one of my favourites in the series for it's gameplay and mechanics) killed it in my opinion, it stopped feeling like a "Dark Souls" game and just BloodBorne with a retexture...

Best way I’ve heard DS 2 defended. It’s got a lot to offer, it’s just different. The DS2 DLCs may be the best of those 3 games.

Brother ds2 is garbage as a souls game (it is a soulslike) and a average to bad normal game Snap point movement is awful, the spam bushes of enemy is bad, the hitboxes are stupid. So many objective ways to condem the game...but people like it because most people hate it. Lord forbid they share an opinion with the majority

@@SlaaneshsBestBoy ds3 is the best because of the connections between ds2 and ds1. Remember fair lady and quelana body? Or aldrich basiclly mid consumption of gwyndolin while dreaming about Priscilla (life hunt scythe)? Or Catarina knight (siegwart) cameo with Yhorm? So many details in ds3 you could write an essay about it
