Every new Band-Maid song rings out with new and innovative riff and chord structures, beat patterns and fills, vocal runs, backups, melodies and lyrics. The Maids continue to pack so much into their songs without them feeling cluttered, repetitive or overplayed. Their composition and execution is always refreshing and amazing to witness and hear. Once again, the supreme Maids -- Kanami, Saiki, Miku, Akane and MISA -- push their contributions to exciting, new levels of writing, playing and performance! We are so lucky to be living in the age of Band-Maid!🤘🎀🤘Thx, Rey!

Thank you so much for sharing this beautifully written comment! 🙌 I couldn't agree more-Band-Maid's ability to innovate and keep their sound fresh with every release is just mind-blowing. The way they manage to pack so much complexity into their songs while keeping them clean and powerful is pure artistry. I’m curious, do you have a favorite member whose contributions stand out to you the most? Or maybe a specific song where you feel they really pushed the boundaries? I’d love to hear your take on it! Thank you for such a genuine reaction, been watching reactions for weeks now and this one is by far one of the best. For me this album has been the hardest out of their albums to rank in a list because all of them are so good, 10/10 album. If I start ranking and one good song comes under the 5th spot it feels so wrong to me😂 And yeah, Good Things Go is such a perfect and powerful song, I love it

@reylynx For me this stands out because of Emily of course, but also because this album got a little bit of everything. It touches the more melodic part with Stained and Overflow. It touches the slow and powerful part with Over Each Other and Good Things Go. It touches the more strong and old LP sounds with Two Faced and IGYEIH. My favorite previous album from them were A Thousand Suns and that’s one of the reasons I just love Overflow, sounds like it’s coming right out of that album. I mean is there a part of you this album doesn’t touch? A lovely mashup from every previous record

And when people talk about impressive vocalists, I'm so floored when I don't hear anyone bring up Kagami. His range and control in both cleans and growls is crazy, man. @@reylynx There indeed is. Tha hair-rising moment near the end of the song where she changes the melody (is it modulation? transposition? don't know the terminology). I really enjoyed your reaction. This is the song that back in 2014 really put Babymetal on the radar of western listeners. The original video has 200 million views. Its very high WTF factor just screamed out for views. A lot of people on our side of the planet disappointingly couldn't handle it. But happily many more could and just recently Babymetal has been on their seventh world tour. This is a really fun performance. The original video was studio audio synced over a live performance. The guitar solo in that recording is epic. I have to say here that the Kami guitarist had one of the best live solos over GC that I've heard. For anybody that loves Babymetal that isn't living in Japan we owe a debt of gratitude to that original release of Gimme Chocolate.
