"Stay your pretty eyes on the course" I loved this part of the lyrics... It's like a humble request "don't focus on me, but on the goal...our goal." But it also sounds like a painful self reminder "If I stop now I won't be able to handle it, I need to focus and nothing else...focus...focus...focus." And there is that detail... Very subtle... "pretty eyes"... a subtle gesture of affection... When directed to another, a delicate compliment... but when directed towards oneself, a reference to someone's else love for you, or the manifestation of your self-love (which is also important in life). Sorry if I said too much. Stay your pretty eyes on the course
@reylynx8 сағат бұрын
Wow, I love how you’ve dissected that line so beautifully. The duality you pointed out between it being a humble request and a personal reminder is so profound-it really shows how much depth these lyrics carry. And the detail about 'pretty eyes' being either an affectionate nod to someone else or a moment of self-love? That's such an insightful observation. And by the way, I really appreciate comments like yours-it adds so much depth to the conversation. If you like my other videos, I’d be happy to have you as part of my KZbin family!

TY Rey! Simple feelings... As i'm 55, i saw the early years of this band, and the two first albums are of those wich i record the exact things and mood in my personal life when i heard them for the first time.... After 2010 i stopped listen to them. When their reformation was announced, like many others, i thought 'why?' I listened to 'Emptiness machine', then others, and last week the whole LP 'From Zero'... Seems that i'm twenty years younger. Seems that Mike also twenty years younger. The new music is just dope! Emily is the perfect fit, and live her energy and fun it's what make the band so exciting! I bought tickets for the paris show next year, gold pit zone... i just can't miss the 'stop yelling at me' pit 🔥🔥🔥 ❤

Thank you so much for this, it really means a lot! It’s so cool to hear how Linkin Park’s early albums were such a big part of your life. I can imagine how powerful it must be to have music that brings back those exact feelings and memories - that’s what makes music so timeless, right? I get what you mean about stepping away after 2010. Was it just life taking over, or did their style not hit the same for you? And now, with the reformation, it’s like they’ve tapped into that old magic again. I feel the same about Emily - she’s like this burst of energy that’s contagious, and seeing her live must be insane!

Love The Line and TOP, I don’t know anything about Arcane. But Tyler said he hoped this could crossover between the fans of each and I would say it succeeds in that. Here I am reacting to a lot of gamer reactors last couple days. If you didn’t know, TOP updates on twitter announced that TOP will be performing at the Game Awards on December 12th.

Don't get me wrong I LOVE heavy Spiritbox but I love stuff like this just as much, these guys know how to write a chorus that just hits when they want it to. The contrast of the heavy instrumental against Courtney's soft vocals in the verses is amazing then they hit you with the chorus with Josh's vocals being very prominent and doing the higher harmony as well, so excited for the album!

This band and Buster are incredible. It is crazy how so much can be going on and it still be in the pocket, so much groove, prog and punch. It's crazy how it can be so heavy but so tasty as well with all the intricacies, beats, synth and you can still groove it to and it flows flawlessly. My album of the year.

Eat EP is my favorite, and still her heaviest project overall. It was also the first time she let out her screams! My Rankings *Disclaimer after watching LouderMilk I decided since I'm an asshole I can be a critic too so some opinions follow... #0 IGYEIH * I just want to be on record saying that this track will go down as the "Smells Like Teen Spirit" of the 20's #1 Two Faced * The Get Right w/ the backwards vocals is what tipped me off to this album being packed w/ easter eggs when you start to reverse things. And for me I hear Mike's frustration with the democratic party but too late for choosing sides now finger is already on the buton #2 Good Things Go #3 Over Each Other * I think this Mike talking about his HipHop career and how we wanted that sound POD from Sattelite was able to use to reach everyone while also being "Christain Rock" but that in general HipHop isn't making the cultural impact needed for the kinds of change we need it just keeps people talking over each other #4 Stained #5 Cut The Bridge * You have to let the album play on loop (with the crossfade so you don't get the breaks) and the pace of this song changes and unlocks this power house of an anthem that you just have to be in the space the rest of the tracks create to feel.
