We just adopted a Distemper survivor from the local shelter and this video was extremely helpful!! Thank you for this and thank you for helpinf that sweet baby! I do have a few questions regarding her recovery. Did she seem a little "slower" than your other dogs? I am speaking in training, behavior and movements. Ours is a 5 month old shepherd mix and he is so calm. I am wondering if this is just his personality or if that is from the Distemper. Also, did you notice any strange movements? I feel that when he jumps his front legs flop outward, did your baby recieve any physical therapy? We have only had him for 3 weeks and have not noticed any neurological symptoms yet but it is so helpful to know what to expect in the coming months! Thank you again for sharing this video!... and yes stanky breath here too 😂

Thats awesome you could help save a life. so many of these cool dogs are euthanized because nobody is willing to give them a chance. yes, they do require extra attention and care for sure! Winona did and still does have coordination issues and was a little slow to learn but she was also badly abused, and we had to spend several months gaining her trust to get past that so that we could train her without her screaming in fear. the other thing that we have noticed is loss of muscle mass on her head and shoulders. We walk her every evening to help keep her active. She also loves playing with her brother Tucker which also seems to help her. She still has her twitch 24 hrs a day, she will have this the rest of her life, and we just make sure she has a comfortable place to lay down. She really likes the warm sun and laying on the cement but because of the twitching while on cement it rubs sores on the sides of her paws from the rough cement, so we purchased a raised bed to keep her off the cement. Welcome to da stanky breath crew! we carry a cloth wear ever we go as she still gets foamy mouth when exercising or stressed. The drooling and foamy mouth are our most troublesome because it gets everywhere and smells bad. We wipe her mouth after every meal and brush her teeth occasionally to help with the stank. hope this helps! Best of luck with your baby! @@daleboseleyjr2800 Thanks for the question! It’s always a good idea to get an alignment after making any changes. Because I did not remove the tire or the tie rod and the vehicle sat on the ground the entire time I waited until I rotated my tires a few months later. If I had dismantled everything taken the tire off and removed the tie rod, I would have aligned it immediately. They checked it out at the time of tire rotation and it was still in specs! I have this device and it works great. I used it today with a power outlet strip with a 5 Amp battery and two portable lunch boxes you can heat food and barely used less then 3 bars to reheat hotdogs and hamburgers and fried rice for a family of 6 people. I charge my iPhone, iPad and i watch. I can even use a 600 watt ninja mixer by quickly plugging and unplugging the plug to mix my protein drink. Two 5A batteries can power my CPAP too.

Don't use grease on the wheel post. The roller wheels have oilite bushings and it will gum up over time. If you must use non OEM rollers you can apply 20W oil very sparingly on the post. Nice video.

I don't understand why they're even there. They rolled into that car, snd the front end of one of them probably got pusjed in a bit. Stuff like that happens all the time and it's fixed and put back out on the road. 2 out of the 3 weren't even damaged.

Unfortunately went last week to check on them and vandals have cut some of the welded doors open and stolen more wire and smashed the cabs up… really sad to see them destroyed before our eyes and can do nothing from our perspective to save them… Thanks 🙏 for commenting! Video quality is bad due to heat but you can see the interior. It’s like seeing one of your friends get beat up by a bunch of punks and there’s nothing you can do to really stop it.

My pup (1 year and 4 months) passed 2 days ago to distemper unfortunately, was a very quick decline in her last week but I’m thankful she didn’t suffer from seizures or anything physically traumatic. Could eat and just was too weak in the end. I pray to God someone finds a cure for this horrible virus.

Do you use any solvent to clean up the carbon deposits? What kind of cloth do you use? How exactly do you do that part?

I used an electronics cleaner and a lint free cloth to clean the carbon off. I tested the switch after cleaning and it worked fine. I have it as a backup switch now. Thanks for asking! 😎
