Hello, I want to start a concierge medicine business. My goal is to develop a team of healthcare professions who provide timely service to individuals who seek personalized holistic team approach. Everything I have read is MD starting this business model but I am not an MD (I have 12 years experience in ICU nurse). I want to hire NPs instead of MDs and provide world class customer service to select group of people who desire this level of care. Can you provide any recommendations to look into this further? Thank you

Does anyone see the problem here and why US medicine is breaking? This is not how you run a medical practice. This is not a manufacturing plant. This is also why US healthcare will collapse under the weight of out of control inflation

The MSO is not owned by the Drs entity. I get the impression that lawyers don't understand this area. They just fake it.

Ohhh. No, I want to opt out of paying into Medicare cause it's a waste of my money. I'm not a practitioner.

Any thoughts on best compensation plan post-transaction to keep incentives aligned? Aside from earnouts, I’ve seen majority of practices decline in production (the exhale after the run up to closing).

This is garbage. Some doctors are shoving this down the throats of their patients who already pay ridiculous rates on insurance each month and for patients who really don’t need it. Patients who have been with these MDs for years are being sent away if they don’t subscribe to this nonsense and the doctors are saying they are being pressured to have patients in enroll. The healthcare in this country continues to go downhill with crap like this instead focusing on the real gaps that already exist in healthcare. Shameful.

Private equity has no place in healthcare. Steward healthcare is closing hospitals down across the country and gutting them for profit. Thousands of jobs ate going to be lost and patients will loose access to their care all so the CEO could extract almost a billion $. Peoples lives will be lost. We need to make sure these private equity companies have the ethics required to take on the responsibility of public health.

What to do avoid tricky situations when one physician works part time where he is enrolled in insurance and now he is starting concierge practice? What steps to take and which NPI number needs to be apply ?

Great to do list. Something that has come up is the "No Surprise Billing Act" There is a lot of confusion amongst the physician community about how this applies to private practice clinics or direct pay providers. It would be great if you could give an overview of the provision of this new legislation. Happy New Year.

#Covid_vaccine is a resistance of covid virus to create new variant, it only able to hide the symptoms after get infected, at the same time to enhance your immunity system to against the virus temporarily like 'MURPHY', "against the virus not eliminated", currently the opportunity to the death of having vaccine injection is less due to it's ineffectiveness since vaccine maker has been modified it to be safe. covid vaccine has the structure of HIV virus same as covid virus, it will permanently stay at human body. Vaccine manufacturer can be sued now after FDA fully approve those vaccine?, this is great liberty status evo. A lot of people death or having long term adverse reaction in vaccination before, and the government still keep hiding the truth..'.".'&;_

@@dman8557 No, I actually went and opened up an IPA with my current practice. I'd rather work harder to earn more by taking risk then to sell to private equity for a lump sum and have my staff and patients be treated as a number!
